I’ve visited Mini Hiba restaurant many times and it has become one of my favourite spots. I usually order the shawarma wrap with chips, and every dish I’ve tried has been consistently delicious. The quality is excellent and the flavours are always fresh. A special mention to Muhammad, who works there; he is always welcoming, treats me very well, and often surprises me with extras. His hospitality makes each visit even better. Highly recommend this place for great Palestinian food and warm service.

Everyday Levantine at Mini Hiba – Walthamstow Mini Hiba brings the heart of Lebanese home cooking to East London with quiet confidence. A smaller offshoot of the well-loved Hiba in Holborn, this spot on Wood Street offers fresh, flavourful dishes in a relaxed, takeaway-friendly setting. The menu is compact but satisfying — think falafel wraps, lamb shawarma, batata harra, and creamy hummus Beiruty. We tried the vegan mezze platter and a chicken shawarma wrap: the falafel was crisp and fragrant, the tabbouleh fresh and zesty, and the garlic sauce had just the right kick. The knafeh for dessert was a sweet, cheesy delight — a perfect finish. Service is fast and friendly, and the prices are fair for the quality and portion size. While the space is small and geared more toward takeaway, there’s a cozy charm to it — clean, unpretentious, and full of regulars who clearly know a good thing when they taste it. It’s also a great option for vegetarians, vegans, and halal diners, with plenty of clearly marked choices. Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or picking up dinner for the family, Mini Hiba delivers on flavour and friendliness.

I have been coming here for years. Lovely couple owners and their hospitality is faultless. They are a local gem. Food is always fresh and full of traditional flavours. I cannot recommend a better place for middle eastern food.

I don’t know where to begin. I came to pick up take away tonight after desperately looking for some arab comfort food and it’s the best decision I’ve made. The staff were amazing - they were so friendly and welcoming. The couple at the front, nada and her husband, were lovely and their daughter was angelic! The environment was so warm and enticing. Some maamoul cookies caught my eye and I got one of each. The food was amazing. The bread so warm and tasty, and the dips had such incredible textures and tastes. So simply but divine. The falafel was some of the best I’ve ever had. The maamoul took the cake - it was divine. I’m dreaming of going back to get more. Overall I just absolutely adore this place and I really can’t wait to be back!!!!

Recently had eat in dinner at this place. The love you receive by the staff is 2nd to none. I have seen some people saying the food is bland specially the ones ordering on delivery apps. This place serves freshly marinated food and that type of food is best when you have it fresh and straight away after its cooked, they use very low salt and loads of amazing herbs. So to enjoy this type of food one needs to forget the salt loaded fast food we are used to. I loved the food so did everyone who was with me also enjoyed every bit. The atmosphere is amazing they have a water dispenser with fruits and mint inside and your welcome to take as much as you like. Cannot understand the negative reviews because the service is amazing at this place. I ordered lamb shawarma x2 with Falafel platter. Portion Size was fairly Large. I had to get two boxes to pack the stuff we could not finish. I have attached some photos and you can see the presentation of the food for this price of the food you wont find this sort of presentation. I would give them Ten stars. I am not related to this business so defo a genuine review.

I went here with my wife and child and was overwhelmed with how accommodating and welcoming/friendly the staff were. We came in for a late lunch and the gentleman kindly suggested that we eat at their bakery a few doors down which had a lovely little play area for kids. We had a chicken and lamb shawarma wrap with chips. Both tasted amazing and were incredibly filling. I would definitely recommend this place on service alone, thank you!
