It’s unfortunate that I am writing this review, as I am supportive of small businesses, especially within the local community… My Mother purchased a hand bag from Whitewall Clothing Company in November 2023 and at the time of purchasing, my Mother explained to the shop owner that the hand bag was a Christmas gift and asked if it could be exchanged for something different, if I wanted to. To which she was advised that it could be exchanged. Sadly, I wasn’t keen on the hand bag and so I contacted Whitewall Clothing Company myself over their Social Media Page, to query if I could exchange the bag for a different item (note - I was not asking for a refund) and I was happy to pay more money towards a more expensive item, if needs be. I was then sent the shop’s Return & Exchange policy, which does not explain the terms over the Christmas period. I was instead advised that Whitewall Clothing Company “do not offer any extended returns other than the few days they are closed over Christmas”. I fully accept the terms & conditions however, my Mother was initially reassured that the item could be exchanged. My Mother has shopped here a few times before but sadly, this won’t be the case again.
