There is not a single thing that I can fault with this restaurant! Eat in or take away the food is amazing ! The staff are so friendly with a real family vibe, and having lived in the area all my life I would say this restaurant has never lost its quality and a real asset to our community ! If ever anyone was passing through Orpington I would recommend making a stop here - will not be disappointed !

Wow! We had the set meal B for 4. It was amazing! Very tasty and lots of it! So much, we had 5 take away boxes!. We booked the table on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy. Service was great and we were not rushed at all. We even managed a nice bonus from the manager or owner at the end to round off a great meal. We will be going back. Recommended.

Have been coming here for years, always the best service and the best Chinese I've had in London! Portions are always big and they have more than the generic variation of dishes. Can not recommend them enough.

It was a full dinner, just maybe a bit salty. And shredded beef was a bit dry. But deep-fried fish was unexpected, and I love dishes with many spring onions. The red bean cake would be called deep-fried red bean cake because I was a bit confused as a Chinese, as we do have red bean cake, which isn't deep fried , cold served instead.

Terrible service and ridiculously overpriced and mediocre food. The 3 of us left angry, hungry, and £130 poorer. Never come back.

Atmosphere is not relaxed. They are rushing to take your plate away. Very pushy as soon as glass empty they are over in seconds. Money added to the bill and I'm not on about the extra 10% service charge. They added money to the mains sneaky. Tables tiny and crammed in, trying to fit as many people in as possible. CHARGED £5 FOR A COKE WHICH WAS OUT OF A MULTI PACK CAN. Some of the food was tasty and other dishes wasn't so good. Portions were very big. Set menu for 2 and 4 multipack cokes 80 pounds. Disrespect. Overall we wouldn't return here, can sense owners are greedy pushy. The gentleman greeting people was very polite. Food about 6 out of 10. They even got a table cloth underneath the current table cloth to save time!

Always good food and friendly service. Had dinner with family. We started with mixed hot appetizer and then had Peking duck with pancakes (not pictured)

The food was overall good. Some dishes were very popular like the Singapore fried noodles, others nice such as the egg battered chicken and others like the Kung po chicken we not as well liked. Portion sizes were good. Overall, we had a reasonable meal and nothing to complain about

The food quality at Xian continues to draw us back. It was good to see a full restaurant testifying to others' agreement. Service good except when trying to get the bill. Generally the foibles of our group were catered for cheerfully. A good muscadet complemented chicken in three different guises and sweet and sour pork. Duck as a starter. Three course would have been too much for us.

I loved this place. The food is above and beyond. Pure quality. All very fresh and the staff were so friendly. Me and my wife went in on a Friday lunch time. We had the restaurant to our selves. The place is small enough to be exclusive and not too big to seat too many people. The air-conditioning was set perfect which in the heat wave was wonderful. The quality of the food was amazing as it was just the 2 of us. I will be back time and time again. It really is a small and perfect diamond of a place. Well done don't change anything.
