i come to speedy noodle with my friends very frequently, and this is easily one of my favourite chinese restaurants. the portion sizes are massive for such a low price, the food has never disappointed and there is such a massive selection to choose from. yes, maybe it is empty sometimes but this isn’t a reflection of the food! the staff are always kind but not overbearing or interrupting, they have never been rude or dismissive toward me in over 5 years of coming here. one of my favourite spots that i will recommend to anyone who will listen!

The place looks empty most of the time but that’s only because the restaurant does most of its business through food delivery apps. It’s cash-only to eat in and takeaway. But the food’s always hot, spicy and generously portioned. The staff are efficient and do not waste time making small talk. However, they are polite and answer any questions without any fuss. The restaurant also takes orders for delivery over the phone (if you are within their delivery radius) and deliver for free if your order is over Β£20. Our order barely took 15 minutes. The Tom Kha soup was mild but warming on a cold winter evening. The Shanghai-style pork Udon noodles were very good. The noodles were chewy and the pork was flavourful. I did need a cup of chilli oil though.

Revisited Speedy Noodles after many years, hoping for a nostalgic experience, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The restaurant was completely empty, and the interior felt neglected β€” old, damaged furniture and a generally tired atmosphere. We were the only two diners, which already felt odd, but the food soon gave a possible explanation. The quality was well below expectations. The Tom Kha Gai lacked enough coconut milk, and the chicken tasted old. The Spicy Ring Calamari was overly chewy and clearly not fresh. Even the Siam Beef, which used to be a favorite, was underwhelming β€” very little beef and poorly cooked rice that just didn’t taste right. To make matters worse, the pricing is unclear. There are extra charges hidden in small print, which could easily catch diners off guard. And surprisingly, they only accept cash, which is highly inconvenient in this day and age. With so many other restaurants in the area offering better quality and service, Speedy Noodles really needs to step up its game. If things don’t improve, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it close down.

I came in to Speedy Noodles this restaurant is a large size with plenty of benches and tables to eat in. I was greeted by a nice staff member who took my order for a takeaway I waited around 15 minutes. The restaurant wasn't busy a few customers inside eating and making orders the restaurant was clean . There portion sizes are one size a large container my order was egg fried rice and plain chow mein which cost Β£9:10 to me is a good price. The egg fried rice tatsed nice could have had more egg in it though and the plain chow mein was good both very filling.

My local Chinese ! Been ordering here for many years now. Overall - big portions and value for money. Not all dishes are great but our usual order of chicken black bean, kung po chicken and chow mein are nice but other stuff have not been nice eg - duck pancakes can be dry, chicken spring rolls barely have any chicken and strangely tastes of fish.

I have eaten here many times, and must admit the experience has always been a pleasurable one. The decor maybe on the basic side but do not let that fool you into believing that the food is also basic it most definitely is not. The staff are extremely friendly just to note the portion sizes are on the large side which is good if taking a family for a meal. I would highly recommend the fresh juices

Great Chinese restaurant affordable and friendly portions are good my favorite Sweet & Sour chicken and crispy shredded chilli chicken tastes great parking is Abit of a issue but in evening use single yellow side road thing to note chicken and beef is Halal and they only accept cash

This place used to be good but not anymore! Food is tasteless and bland, portions are a joke and full of onions, ordered breaded prawns and no prawns present only fried bread crumbs. Come here and waste your money if you want but there are better Chinese places nearby

This restaurant is a very clean healthy place to eat. You can just walk in with a reservation and they always have places for either a single or group of people. The service is very quick and the staff are very pleasant. The food is very fresh and cooked to a very high standard. The food was delicious and filling. I would recommend giving this establishment a go especially if you have little time to spend and are in a hurry.
