Four of us had food from Farnborough fish bar tonight, rock was ok as was the sausage but both cod pieces were dry and tough to eat. Never had cod like this before, felt like it had been refried from lunch time. It was most unpleasant and for the price not worth going back there again
My partner just brought us a fish and chips from here.Really awful.Greasy,overcooked both the chips and the fish.It made us all feel sick after a few bites.It is surprising as we had it there before and it was good but unfortunately we won't be going back again.
I absolutely love the fish and chips here. I come quite regularly and have never had a single complaint. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is some of the best i’ve ever had in a fish and chips. The chips are cooked to perfection. Highly recommend, best fish and chips around.
Visited twice this week. Got there at 2 mins to nine to be told they close at 9 and there was nothing left. Went back two days later got there at 8.42. To be told they only had a pie, saveloy or sausage left. I asked for cod as they closed at 9. Was told no, they had turned of fryer and oil was cold, so don’t really close at 9. More like 8. Won’t be going back. Found Tom Bell in Sainsbury’s car park instead. Much better visit there.
Best fish and chips shop around Always consistently good. The quality is great every time, and the portions are generous. If you’re in the area and want fish and chips, this is definitely the place to go. The service is friendly, and it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Only just started going to this place after some really bad food 10 years ago. So far the snacks I've had are done well. If they keep this up I would increase the score.
The food was OK, but before l went in, a local told me Bromley Council had financially pressured them to dispense with dine in. Rainy night in Autumn. Most inconvenient.
A rare thing these days. A genuine Fish and Chip shop. Not a takeaway that happens to do fish and chips. I would say this is like a good version of the fish and chips we used to be able to get...'when I was a lad'...(and you get a LOT of proper chip shop chips in a portion.)...It is a treasure.
Best fish and chips in the area. Always popular, so good turnover of food, hence always fresh. Friendly staff. If ordering scampi or similar give heads up as cooked to order so can take longer
