   We ordered on Just Eat so the Service and Atmosphere are N/A but going from previous experience each score a 4/5. The reason I am giving this only 2 stars is because the last couple of times we ordered the food has been way below average. The food we ordered tonight was honestly that bad we ended up throwing it out not even half eaten. They have a 50% off deal when you spend £20 or more which is nice as Chinese food is usually expensive but I would rather of paid full price and gotten food that was edible. I like this place, the people are nice and local but tonight's food has put me off coming back here.

   We stopped by for a takeaway order of noodles — our first time trying this place. We didn’t have huge expectations, but were curious to give it a go. The restaurant itself looks a bit outdated, but that wasn’t really an issue for us since we were just after some quick food. Prices are quite reasonable, and the portion sizes are huge — easily enough for two people to share one dish. We ordered the fried vegetable noodles with extra tofu. Unfortunately, the vegetables tasted as though they’d come from the freezer, the noodles were slightly stale, and the overall flavour was oddly smoky and overly salty. The tofu was quite dry and seemed to have been fried in old oil. Sadly, we couldn’t finish the plate.

   I haven’t been to this Chinese takeaway for years and decided to treat myself - I always order a Singapore rice vermicelli although I usually find they use red curry powder (it’s the chilli powder that makes it go red) and I don’t like this version. When I first had Singapore noodles many years ago, it was more of a yellow curry powder (it’s turmeric that makes it yellow) and I enjoy this one much more. Because this establishment uses the chill version, I asked for a special rice vermicelli which is exactly the same as a Singapore rice vermicelli just without the curry powder. And I asked them to add fresh chilies which they did oblige. The lady serving me was very helpful and friendly. When I got my food home, I found out the container of vermicelli noodles were in a large container and it was packed full. Importantly, it was packed full of mainly noodles - there were three or four small pieces of chicken. I only found one tiny prawn. There was a very small piece of egg and I don’t think I found any pork whatsoever. This is meant to contain all three of these proteins, prawns chicken and pork so although the taste was quite nice, the ingredients were very sparse considering they charge £7.50 for it. I also ordered Sweet-and-sour pork balls which comes with x10 pieces. These were actually delicious and the meat was very lean and not very fatty at all. This cost about £7.50 Although it was very tasty, the size of each piece was very small. I also opted for a roast duck curry - this had a very nice taste but was 80% carrots, onions and mushrooms and I found about five very small pieces of duck so that was very disappointing for a cost of £7.90. The lack of a substantial amount of ingredients in the Singapore Vermicelli and the highly disappointing levels of duck in the curry are the main reason I have given it the rating that I have given. In fairness , the curry sauce tasted very good, but like I say, hardly any duck at all for the price - and the container they gave it to me and was a much smaller one than the noodles and was only just over half full. It is for these reasons I will not be returning to this establishment. Tbh I usually use a take away a few doors along from this one as they are better priced and the content of chicken, prawns and pork in their vermicelli noodles is much better and they add more vegetables such as red pepper as well (there was literally zero vegetables in the one I had from Capital).    (Food Critic) This is a nice quirky noodle restaurant & take away Chinese establishment that provides excellent quality food an service it has a family feel to it all staff are very polite and accommodating I had a wonderful time an really enjoyed the food as it was very tasteful also hygiene is top notch even has hand sanitiser by the door all very clean Id rate this restaurant 5 stars all round recommend as it met my expectations

   £6.50 for rice. And then when you call to ask why apparently it’s impossible. Not worth the money! And it’s actually disrespectful the amount they give you for that price. Go elsewhere!!!

   The service was on point! And the food was so good. The size was really good! And the food itself was delicious. It didn’t leave me thirsty so that’s good. I would say however the parking isn’t best. I found a nearby road that didn’t have any parking restrictions. But there are loads of restrictions around.
