   This not a fake review, i have actually been here!!! The chips tasted like they were from a frozen bag and not hand cut. The fried chicken was over oily and tasted, over priced and gormless unfriendly staff looking like a front for something else.

   Bought doner kebab from this place tonight it was disgusting. Doner was too salty,meat was burnt and hard chucked the chilli sauce and gave it to me.never again. Stay away. Waste of money.

   SCAMMERS!!! AVOID!!! Deliberately overcharged because I paid by card. Shoved a card machine in my face without telling me the final cost, I challenged this and was told £6.60, I’ve since checked my online banking and have been charged £9.60! Staff are rude and chips taste like they have been cooked in old oil! AVOID AT ALL COSTS - with the amount of bad reviews we can’t all be wrong.

   King's Diner Fish and Chips, Sidcup. Wasn't really impressed with this place because chips were dry and hard. The fish had been cooked for a while so also dry and firm. Again, fried stuff is all about the right timing so if I had come in after the person I would have gotten some fresh fish and chips. On a side note, even if you request for small which is regular on the menu, they still have to give you the large and charge you for it. Paying like 12.xx cost more than the French authentic duck leg and mash down the road. If the food had been nice, it wouldn't have bothered me. It was just another chippy to tick of the list.

   Avoid this place; bug in food! We stopped here for a takeaway after a few drinks locally, service was fine, chips freshly fried, all looked good. About halfway through eating the kebab, I found quite a large bug on the kebab meat. This could have been on the kebab meat or from the chilli sauce as all was mixed up. As you can imagine on discovering this neither myself nor my partner ate any more. I imagine they get quite a lot of footfall being the only takeaway place near the station and opposite the hotel, so if you do happen to check reviews prior visiting/ordering, definitely AVOID.

   Food was tasty, little greasy but that's expected of a chippy. Condiments need to be bought, and it's cash only. Food is cheap, nice, quick and easy.

   Me and drinking buddy came in for a coffee as costas was shut. I was hungry for some chips so I opted for a meat pie, chips and a big pickled onion which nicely hit the spot and filled a hole. As there was only us two in there apart from the boss and his wife, I only put 3 stars for atmosphere but they were friendly and helpful enough

   Ordered large code via Uber and received small to medium. Ended up giving to the dog as tasted stale and smelled too fishy, washed my hands four times, can still smell fish. Upgrading my review, was 2 but I’m now giving a 3 as they sent another fish which was great, but had to order again from Uber so had to pay 2 delivery charges. If they had sent a quality correct size cod in the first place (no pun intended) would have got 5/5.
