Visited for a quick bite before a performance at the nearby Bird College. Was really impressed and excellent value. Add coffee machine and woud be 5*
This is the second time I've ordered through uber eats and my burger has been under cooked! We chose to order again as it could of been a one off, turns out not.. All three of our burgers were under cooked and one was for my child!!! Never be ordering from here again, I am just hoping now we don't get unwell from the mouthfuls of burger we have eaten.
Guys I’m really sad that the experience tonight wasn’t up to standard as we have previously had a few family meals at the restaurant. We ordered a collection with a 40 minute lead time, arrived to collect my order to find out the restaurant was experiencing WiFi issues and that they would need to start making the order, I gave them the time of day and didn’t complain. The waitress took down our order on paper and had specifically written down the removal of certain garnishes from the burger, I went to the car and returned 20 minutes later to collect the order, after taking it back to the car we discovered the burgers both contained the garnishes we had asked to be removed, I took it back to the restaurant and again gave the waitresses an easy time of it under the circumstances, they apologised and took it to the chefs to correct, I received the order and took it back to the car to drive home but to my surprise when we checked they had simply scraped the lettuce off with their hands and had left a load of lettuce stuck to the burger so had not removed it as requested. So I returned to the restaurant for the third time, this time asking them to simply just place the burger in a new bun with no lettuce so we could get home after two hours of mucking around, we collected the order again and set off home, I got home 15 minutes later to find all the fries were raw… I drove back, making this my fourth trip to the restaurant in one night and spoke to the kitchen team who agreed that the food was inedible and not up to scratch at all. After a lot of hassle and disappointment we did a receive a refund but this is really embarrassing for the restaurant. I’m a chef myself and I know how it feels to be under pressure, this is why I did not throw a tantrum in the restaurant as I have a respect for the staff that not all customers would, however I would never have sent out food in that condition, I would imagine the owners of this business have a lot of pride in their restaurant and would not want food leaving the kitchen like this, I hope it can be addressed and avoided in future.
Our experience was good, the service was fast and good. Burgers were delicious, cajun fries were fresh but, we didn’t like the cajun was only spice as a flake.
Update 3.....back again and extremely impressed!! Burgers back to there best, but again I did order my sauce on the side. Now serving draft lager as well!! Staffing amazing, polite and friendly especially the lovely Molly. My only complaints all 4 portions of chips served cold and menu needed updating. Update 2.....back dining in and reasonably happy after my disastrous takeaway. What i did realise is that you have to order the burger sauce on the side as its so runny and make the burger buns sloppy also the patties are served medium-rare so there is quite a bit of juice from the actual burger but excellent taste. Great skin on and sweet potato Fries...... Update.... this latest review is regarding the takeaway/collection service. Unfortunately this is the 3rd time I've used there collection services and had the same bad results, the burgers are being served smothered in sauce which reduces the buns to a mushy mess. Even on the burger we requested no sauce the bottom bun was soaked with meat juices, see photos. The buffalo hot chicken wings where tiny and resembled more of a sparrows wing then any chickens and considerably overpriced! 45 min wait for collection. We received only lettuce on the burgers and they've also removed skinny Fries from there menu. However I still rate dining in at the restaurant on pervious experiences pre-lock down at a 5 ⭐ rating. The real king of the burgers! Beautiful beef patties combined with fresh ingredients to make one of the best burgers joints you can get locally. Wide choice of cocktails and some good beers. Good for couples and groups, always seems busy so best to book. Good friendly staff.
Most disgusting burger I’ve ever had! I think a frozen burger would have been better. We placed the order over Uber eats and it came over 40 minutes late. Let’s say this wasn’t their restaurant’s fault. However, the restaurant is responsible for: -sending out a cold order -sending the wrong fries (one out of 2 correct) -not even melting the cheese which makes me question how hot the food was when assembled The order which was £30 came cold, the meat was below mediocre, the cheese had a very bad processed/chemical/plastic taste. Both burgers and fries were cold! L I’ll ask for a refund and never again order from here!
Came here last Friday evening and back again with my son the following Friday so that he can agree with me on how good these burgers are ! And he did ! 2 for 1 on cocktails always helps to. Best i’ve ever had. Great staff too you wont be disappointed x
I am a burger lover and can say without a shadow of a doubt that Hello Burger is in my top 5 of all time burgers. Cannot rate this place enough. Better than all the major chains! I will be returning as often as I can and recommend highly to everyone. For best results, eat in, but I have had the delivered option and it’s still really really good.
I ordered the buy one get one free offer on Uber eats, and couldn’t fault. Burger was warm chips was warm. Also staff was attentive and followers the order notes/instructions. Never had a bad experience
Food was tasty. Had the vegan smokey burger which was good but the facon was impossible to cut into smaller pieces. Curly fries also tasted pretty good but were a bit soggy and chewy. Service was very disappointing. Was never asked how my food was and was overcharged - when asked about it didn't even get an apology. Was given the cash back and basically sent on my way. A lot of potential but unfortunately didn't meet any of the expectations.
