Excellent choice for men and women and I've been introduced to some great new brands via OTGS. I've had a couple of things delivered too and I don't know how they get it packaged and sent so quickly. This is a real boon for Stockport, and would recommend everyone to pop in when they get chance.
I placed an online order on Friday with Old Town General Store and it was sent out under 20 minutes later! I was shocked- I've never had such a speedy service! I was given all tracking updates, and then the order then arrived promptly on Monday morning, wrapped beautifully and with a handwritten note. Such wonderful service, and I'm very very happy to have found the dress I was looking for at a discount - thankyou so much!!
I tried to order a few things then had a issue with payment. Tony and the team sorted it on a quick phone call and sent it ASAP. I have used the store a few times and always been happy with the products and the customer service. I’ll be using again!

I always walk pass this shop. And have a look through the windows. I always felt I was not quite ready to afford the brilliant exclusive pieces in there. One day, I saw a fire STOCKPORT viaduct T-shirt (no, it really was) through the window. I had to choose between that and dinner. My stomach won. The next time, it was around Father's Day and I chose Middlegate for a walk. Then I accidentally encouraged my girlfriend into the shop. What a shop this spot is. The arrangement, the scent, the style of the shop owners/attendants. In the end she bought me a wonderful top (I'm too old to say "sick top"). Best Father's Day gift ever. Thank you O.T.G.S.
People may slate Stockport, but the old town is steeped in history and is something not to be missed. So much to see and do from the old markets, traditional pubs, amazing restaurants and fish & chios and out door markets. There really is something for everyone. It's quirky Street layout and pubs that you don't expect to be there are there again inside the building are like stepping back in time, it truly is a magnificent place. The retail centre, the cinema to name but a few. The council really have invested and made it very appealing. Well worth a visit, just for the historical parts and the narrow walkways to shops including the adult shop next door to a photographers shop!! Cant beat it. Well maybe some do! If you are bored I'd highly recommend a visit anytime.
