    The staff here are absolutely appalling i ordered items online on entering the store i gave them the collection code to be told to pick it up from an area where the items were and they were displayed cheaper i said ill have a refund on the online price and pay store price to be then told I can't have them at the price displayed they refunded the full online price and refused to sell at the price displayed and said the price displayed shouldn't be there it had no expiry date on the price displayed i said the price as to be honoured to be told by a manager who as no clue between her right arm to her left i cant have it at displayed cost even though if a customer attempts to buy an item at a displayed cost is as good as a contract between supermarket and customer as its a store inside a Sainsbury's Sainsbury's staff said the price shown should be honoured but the idiots in argos refused anyone would of thought it was coming out of there own pockets Next time ill go b&m

    Bought a phone in December last year. Laughingly thought that if I had any problems it would be easier to sort it if I bought it through Argos. It broke. I did a factory reset and took it back to Argos on Sunday morning. Have you got the receipt? No, it's on the phone, which I have reset. Need the receipt. Have you not got a record of the transaction? No. Can you use my Argos Card? No. Here's a number so that you can call The manufacturer. Was the wrong number. I went online and sorted it myself and got a replacement two days later... Guess what, won't be buying from Argos again.

    Went into try and exchange a product that was in the warranty period, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, asked to speak to the manager who was equally rude and unhelpful. I have been going to Argos for years and this was truly a shocking experience. I hope these staff members do not reflect on Argos as a company.

    Reggie was super helpful to me when I’d lost all the info for some placemats I’d reserved. They were the last set. He interrogated the system and tracked them down with patience and good-humour. I was truly grateful for such a positive experience.

    A massive shout out to Kirsty the store manager here. I had an issue with an Ebay Click and Collect item that had been delivered to the wrong area of Sainsbury's. She went beyond the call of duty to try and locate the missing package.

    Terrible experience with store return. Bought an item only two months ago but cannot return it to store asking me to contact Manufacturer. Its clearly Argos responsibility to fix an item that has developed a fault not manufacturer as I bought an item from Argos not from manufacturer. Manager at this store is rude and unprofessional not helping at all. This won't go unnoticed as I will log a complaint about your attitude and behaviour towards certain people and you know very well what you do.

    Kept waiting over an hour for the manager (DIMPLE) to come to the counter when there were no seats or toilets available, Then she was unable or willing to help with a faulty return. Problem resolved in 5 minutes at another Argos store, AVOID!

    Ordered a microwave online and collected, discovered that product was not fit for purpose (in accordance of my 14 day distance purchase consumer rights) so returned to store in its original box opened box with packaging intact and unused. Assistant unpacked product handling it as she did and informed me that the product was not in saleable condition as it had finger prints visible on its surface the majority made by its unpacking. I asked to see manager who informed me that I could get a refund if I cleaned the product, I informed the manager that the majority of prints were from the assistant carrying out her inspection, which she accepted but insisted that I cleaned the door, on doing so refund was granted. This makes me think Argos are selling on returned items as new and not informing the consumer they are repackaged goods.
