“I am so pleased a neighbour recommended Kancho as we'd been looking for a kitchen fitter for almost 2 years. Kancho was great right from the start. He arrived with a designer and electrician and within a couple of days we had the first design. Our original kitchen was awkward which limited our design options but Kancho was able to overcome these issues and was prepared to customise some of the units to give us as much storage as possible. We made some changes to the design and we soon had the perfect kitchen on paper. The installation went very well, even though there were issues along the way (uneven walls etc), but Kancho being Kancho was always optimistic, enthusiastic and never appeared stressed. We love our new kitchen and it matches the plans. We never thought it would be possible but we've got our dream kitchen. We highly recommend Kancho for his professionalism, great chats/attitude and integrity!! Kancho, if you're reading this, feel free to pop over whenever you're in the area, there will always be a Latte with 3 sugars here for you :-)”

“I went in today to drop my plane iron off for the in-store sharpening service. Nathaniel offered to call me back once it was done, and give me a demo on how to set the plane up, and use it as well. He went above and beyond with getting the blade flat and sharp, and set it up beautiful, giving me some fantastic advice! It's my Grandad's old plane so I'm absolutely thrilled to have it working, and cannot thank Nathaniel enough. Aside from this, I always get great service and advice, and great products of course - cannot recommend the store and team enough.”

“Bought a super king ottoman bed frame and mattress from them last Thursday and it was delivered the following Friday. Can’t argue with those timescales! The bed is fantastic and I genuinely can’t believe the quality for the price I’ve paid. I’ve been in store a few times and every time they’ve been really friendly and helpful. Even if you’re after something they don’t have, ask them because they’ll do their best to help source it for you! Lucky to have a shop like this so close to us. 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”
