    As a Stax regular I'd seen their advertising on (what I thought was) their fence directly across from Stax entrance/exit on Wardley Industrial Estate. Months later, I see some good prices posted for plywood sheets so I thought I'd pick them up from there. Well, I tried every unit where the advert is and all I got was "never heard of 'em mate" and "who? naaaah, someone else was here asking a few weeks back, but naaaah, no idea who it is". Now I find they are miles from their advertisement, in Walkden (not in Worsley and not in Manchester). No wonder I couldn't find 'em. Moral of the story - if you're going to advertise goods at good prices, give us a clue where you are!

    We’re in nwtt most mornings and the service is absolutely shocking, we’ve been in countless times where we turn up and all form drivers are stood having a chat together and they bluntly ignore the customer or if not they all scatter and hide away so they don’t have to serve anyone. The over the counter service is great but the yard service is shocking. They need to learn a thing or two off the Ashton branch.

    Good service as always. Yard crew are helpful and quite knowledgeable. Shop staff are extremely knowledgeable but the computers can be slow. Delivery drivers are brilliant. And quality of timber products is top notch meant to last. One downside is how rough the shared entrance road is.
