   Untrained staff and no apology or anything from the staff or the manager. I Came with a very tiny baby to exchange a gift my five year old got for her birthday as the size was too big. and they accidentally processed as a return to the gift sender so we were left with nothing and a wasted trip with a baby and a sad five year old. Will make a complaint to head office as there was no apology and two male staff workers with no understanding of how hard it is for a woman with small children to leave the house and do these things. Online it says you can exchange with a receipt. I had asked the sender for the recipt and the staff member just put it through as a return. I am very upset and will never be returning to that store ever again. I would like an apology from both staff members!

   Okay, I'm getting on a bit, but still class myself, as an over 60s stylish man. River Island has definitely come on in leaps and bounds. Mens fashion, has a new look and feel. Colourful styles of suits and jackets, easy wear trousers and t-shirts. Some are a reasonable price, and some are out priced, but all in all, definitely worth a visit. Congratulations to the new fashion and design of the store aswell, and yes they will also sell you a coffee, whilst waiting for your partner or friend, to appear from the changing rooms. Definitely worth going in, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

   Wow wow wow!!! I don’t know who’s been on the Design Team lately but everything was insanely beautiful - from the clothes to the shoes to the accessories. The store is very well presented & clean with a special credit to the changing rooms. Love the digital shopping assistant. I haven’t shopped in RI in years as I’d never really liked the styles but it’s been amazing lately.❤️

   We went to Trafford centre on Sunday and then decided to visit this totally new look River Island. I was really surprised to see the ambience, decoration, and some amazing stuff inside the showroom. I will be visiting soon to shop some formals.

   I went to the Trafford centre store. I bought a pair of shoes. When I got to the checkout the store assistant looked at the bottom of both shoes and sold me the shoes. When I got home the shoes were different sizes, now I know this is my mistake taking shoes to the till with different sizes. But what annoys me is that the store assistant looked at the bottom of both shoes and never mentioned they were different sizes and they let me buy them. I now have to make another very long trip to return them

   Decent deals when I walked in. Nice variety of clothing for men’s and women’s at a variety of prices. Things can get on the expensive side though, if you’ve got a lot of money to spend river island would be an ideal place if you’re into your fashionable clothes
