This not the Shapla, the building has been knocked through with next door, asked why food was different the stated they have changed staff. Food was rubbish the curries were thin sauce with chunks of pre cooked chicken added, not cooked fresh. Will not use again
Ordered a takeaway of chicken tikka, chicken tandoori and cheese naan. The flavours were lacklustre and did not offer the authentic flavour of tandoori or tikka. The naan had literally NO cheese but when I called to enquire I was told that the chef had in fact added cheese. Neither I nor my son spotted or tasted a tinge of cheese to be honest. The naan was soft nonetheless which was a plus amongst all the other disappointments. I don’t see myself ordering food from here again. Overall the flavours were just not what would be expected.
We were warmly welcomed and the staff were attentive but unobtrusive. I had a lovely lamb starter that was nicely pink on the inside and a ginger chicken (yummy!) while my other half went for prawn puri and a Bengal Chicken Jalfrezi. All in all a lovely experience! (Also worth noting: the customer loos were *immaculate!* )
Came here to take my Nan out for dinner and we had an amazing time! Food was hot, fresh and tasty. PARVAS (hope I got that right) was our server and did amazing job! Was very attentive and on the ball! 5/5 will come again

Nice enough curry at fairly decent price. Not top notch but probably about the best in Watford
Mixed tandoori was ok, despite being bit expensive for the amount given. Special Mixed biryani sorry to say the worst I have eaten… no salt, no taste,….not happy about paying £2.5 for small glass of coke, filled from a 2l bottle with no gas. Sorry to say that we won’t go again.
Wow blown away by the service. Talk about rolling out the red carpet. The food was fabulous. Thank you for great time. Even if Lord Sean is a bit much :)
Great ambience and friendly staff. Dined with the family and really enjoyed the evening.
