   Avoid. Would give 0 stars if possible. The takeaway food we received was bland beyond belief. The potatoes in the sag aloo were completely raw and crunchy, the mushroom bhaji had zero seasoning, just sliced mushrooms in a pale tomatoey sauce. Poppadum bendy instead of crisp. I can't speak for the meat eaters but we threw 3/4 of the food in the bin. Dont waste your money.

   Ordered takeaway and was excited seeing the pictures but should’ve known to check their reviews before. Curry was sweet as hell with too much tomatoes and hardly any flavours. Lamb was dry, chewy and hard. 100% served frozen food way back and just heated it. If you want Indian food, avoid this place .. if you wanted to be conned then must try.

   I ordered food for takeaway, and the chicken tikka masala was just coconut with chicken and had hardly any seasoning. All the dishes was overwhelming sweet with no hint of indian deliacy. The thing is, I was extremely excited to try a new indian restaurant and the food did smell nice, but I was sadly disappointed with how the food turned out. I personally wouldn't recommend ever coming here if you value your taste buds.

   Good Indian restaurant with many traditional British style Indian dishes. It has a very typical Indian restaurant interior, mirrors columns, piped Indian music. Good honest restaurant, prices are fair and quality is fine. Service was excellent on my two visits and I would be happy to visit there again.

   Got a delivroo from here and when the food arrived 90% of the food had spilled inside the bag and all the film lids had not been put on properly. We rung up to explain the situation to red rose and the rude man on the phone was adament that it was not them, all lids are put on properly and that the delivroo driver and us were to blame for the food spillage. He then pretended he couldn't hear us on the phone and that we should ask deliveroo for a refund. I know as a motorbike driver myself, for a 2 mile trip no matter how crazy you were to drive on a motorbike/scooter there is no way every item with those lids would spill out, poppadoms flew out the bag, naans all over covered in sauce. That's knocked 3 stars off for me. Food very very nice but shame 1 staff member has no regard for customer service

   Very disappointing. Ordered Thali for collection. Changed a couple of items and paid the extra. I got there on time but had to wait at least 10 more minutes and then when I got my order I gave it a quick check and there was no nan so I had to go back and wait a further few minutes for the nan. To be fair that was the nicest part of the whole meal, the rest was very average. Anyway when I came on to the main meal, the rice was just a plain rice not the mushroom rice I had paid extra for. Very disappointing. So when I had finished some of the meal (I threw half of it away) I called the restaurant and explained the situation to the manager and he offered to refund just £2 - the difference in what I had paid and what I received. This seemed to be a bit of an insult to me but he didn't want to budge. When I suggested a full refund he got quite shirty and said he would have got someone out to me straight away. When I am half way through a meal I really don't want to wait a further 30 minutes for the rice. His reply was that mistakes happen and I should just accept that. I don't think 2 major mistakes with a simple takeaway is acceptable and the attitude was appalling. So when I said I would leave a review he hung up on me - very professional. They are all smiles when they are taking your money but it all changes when they get it wrong.

   Fantastic Indian restaurant & only a 5 minute walk from home. Food was delicious & service impeccable especially when I managed to knock over & break my wine glass! They couldn't have been more attentive as I managed to cut myself too! Will definitely go back & definitely recommend.

   The Red rose one of many Indian restaurants in Surbiton, unfortunately the food does not stand above its competitors or even live up to the flavours and authentic spices that one would expect. The first impression venue was clean and ambience looks, a nice place to go dinner. The service was were things went off track the waiter who took our order was not friendly at all, felt almost like an old grumpy uncle that came from his house wearing casual clothes. The food was no difference all looked nice however it really lacked flavour. I'm no expert in Indian food however I've have been to Mumbai and the daal which is one of the dishes I expected to be right. The food lacked flavour but it wasn't inedible unfortunately the service was the main reason for the poor review.
