A lovely spot for a casual dinner. The tomato basil pasta had a rich, aromatic sauce and the parmesan was freshly grated. The breadbasket was warm and soft. The only downside was a slightly long wait for drinks.
Ordered from Uber Eats. Order #13F65. The whole order was cold to a point - it felt like they took it out of the fridge and just chucked it in the plastic bag. Cold as it was, I tried it. Royal hyderabadi biryani was bland. The chicken’s taste in it was horrible. The texture was a few days old. Fish cutlets turned out to be fish balls. Not as shown as on the picture in the menu. Few days old too. The only okay-ish thing was the mutton roll. Less than 2 days old. The texture wasn’t that horrible. I have had a wonderful experience before. Sad to say the inconsistency is ruining it. It’s like gambling. You eat nice once and the rest of the times you don’t. Ruined my perfectly fine day. Don’t have it in me to give them another chance again. Highly recommended to STAY AWAY from this restaurant.
Absolutely love Amma’s Bucket! The food quality is always exceptional – fresh, tasty and full of flavour. The staff are amazing and super friendly, and the portion sizes are great. I ordered the Mighty Chicken Koththu and Mighty Chicken Biryani buckets for 20 people on my birthday, and everyone loved it and asked where the food was from. Definitely recommend 100%!
When I walked into Amma, it instantly felt like home. The warm atmosphere and friendly smiles. The dishes are rich in aroma and depth, every bite was full of spices, care, and tradition. The bucket biryani at Amma is the real show stopper. served steaming hot, packed with flavours. Delicious!
We ordered a large amount of food for a family gathering with short notice and they not only prepared it well and quickly but it also tasted very delicious. The Biryani was especially good as it didn’t have too much oil. Everyone was pleased with the food and the service was incredible as well.
I ordered mutton, prawn and vegetable biriyani for a party and everyone couldn't stop talking about how good the food was! The portion sizes were generous and the prices were really great. They accommodated all the last minute changes and recommended different options that worked better for me in terms of cost and portion size. I will be recommending them to others and will definitely be ordering from here again!
Recently found this place, serves halal and yummy Sinhalese cuisine. We ordered Hyderabadi dum biryani, meaty kothu and chicke lollipops. Lollipops were not like lollipops but nice fried chicken . Give real taste of home cooked food. The aunty is so sweet and lovely serves yummy food. A must try to help them get more business
They serve bucket biryani in Harrow . Ceylon and Hyderabadi biryani is served here. It’s not authentic taste but it’s better than other shop . Quantity is good.
We've heard of Amma's a few times from other people so decided to give it a go... Definitely the best mutton kothu I've had in Harrow! Really well presented in the bucket and tasted great so will be going back.
I ordered following on Deliveroo - 1. Veg fried rice - quantity was good but was too too spicy. The veggies tasted raw 2. Mutton rolls - 2 no's, spicy again, mutton was hard and a bit rubbery 3. Chicken curry and parotta - was good but quantity of curry was a bit less , sufficient only for one person. This cost of all this was £15, which is quite economical. Overall, the food was very spicy , so I wouldn't be ordering again. But whoever likes spicy food , can try it out.
