Been a regular here for years and you’re probably thinking why I haven’t left a review. Because the FOOD always gets the best of me and it’s all I can think about. It sends me to another dimension eating their food. Highly recommend their chicken tikka biriyani as it’s one of a kind and one you will not want to miss. Cheeky bugger even comes with a veggie curry which is just the cherry on top. Takeaway is family friendly as well - everytime I come with my kids, one of the chefs always gives them sweets or a chocolate bar. Lovely stuff from the team at Alamin and thank you for your service.
This is the best curry in the area by far. The service is excellent and these guys are super friendly. It's great value for money and always a great curry. I have been getting my curry from here for nearly 20 years. I have travelled the country and the world and this is good tasty food. The poor reviews are 'nay sayers' and are clearly grumpy for a petit reason.
I always go to Al Amin, once you’ve had it you won’t go anywhere else. So tasty, always fresh and the people are lovely too.

Good food But dishonest and rude service I've been a regular here for a long time and is the only place that makes a decent curry in Kingston. Never had any issues until today. Checked online for total cost of order then decided to call and place it to collect. Was told a higher price on the phone, when I told them their own website order system was giving me a lower price paying by card then collecting or paying on collection. Phone was passed to 3 different people, second one told me 20 something then 3rd said 19 something. Arrived to pay and collect and the price was the highest one. Showed to screenshot of online order then the 3rd person tried to justify it by saying the extra cost was because of the "facility to talk and order on the phone". He then went onto say I was lying and threatened to slap me in bengali. Unaware that I understood every single word. He was rude to the chef I assume and myself. He broke his prayer to address this. I would have happily waited. Deffinately won't be ordering from here EVER again.FYI, if they start talking in another language and the atmosphere feels weird/awks, they are bad mouthing you!
