   A Perfect Sunday Surprise! We dropped into Dawat on a Sunday night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming — attentive without being intrusive. The food was absolutely excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. To top it all off, there was a fantastic live band playing, which gave the evening an extra spark. Between the great food, friendly service, and the bonus live music, it turned into one of those spontaneous nights you don’t forget. A great end to our Diwali celebrations! Highly recommend!

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dawat Restaurant, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and the aroma of delicious food set the tone for a great evening. The food was absolutely fantastic — every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Whether it was the appetizers or the mains, each bite was memorable. It’s clear the kitchen takes real pride in their craft. Equally impressive was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout the meal without being intrusive. The place was quite lively and a bit on the louder side, but given that it was completely packed, that just added to the vibrant, energetic ambiance. It’s always a good sign when a restaurant is full of happy diners! All in all, Dawat is a gem — delicious food, top-notch service, and a buzzing atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back again.    We tried the potato masala chips recommended by a staff named Raju. I would like to mention he was so cheerful and made sure our food preferences were taken care of. We also had the lamb chops and chicken tikka biryani, and everything was really tasty. Definitely worth a try!

   Great food and excellent attentive service. Our waiter was very helpful and made sure we were always fine be with asking if we needed more drinks as he noticed they were nearly finished to special requests to cook our fish the way we wanted even though not on the menu. Made sure we were happy with every aspect of our food even to the point he replaced 2 lamb chops because they were chewy with fresh tender ones. Also made my friend whose birthday it was feel special with cake and happy birthday song. Nice place to catch up with friends.

   Went on a Friday night. The place was very busy. We had to make a reservation. Had some good live music. The staff was very busy yet attentive to us. The mixed grill was amazing. Definitely worth trying it (not the fish). They were kind enough to take the fish off the bill since it wasn’t good. The mutton Biriyani was also delicious. I’d also recommend the kulfi ice cream. They don’t have a dedicated parking space but there are plenty of street parking around the area. The starters here are also very good. Overall experience was very good.

   Best place to visit to have a wonderful experience trying typical Indian food with perfect spices. Staff is very helpful with everything possible they could offer us and secondly always active at service. Staff is very king and gentle. I prefer to visit again with my family.

   We arrived on a Friday evening with no reservation. The kind gentleman who attended (and throughout the evening) us found a table for the three of us with a promise to return within 1hr30m; all fine by us. The three of us sat near the main entrance, at the front of the restaurant. We ordered beverages, followed by starters and mains. All was attentive and prompt with no further delays or reminders. Our starters were beautifully cooked and flavoursome. Our mains were also nice, full of flavour and served hot with no rush and arrival in good time. Whilst we dinned the live music was in full-flow! Disclaimer if you are sat in the front of the restaurant, this can be a tad loud and you may have difficulties talking amongst yourselves. Aside from this a good eatery and worth checking out! I would advise booking in advanced as we previously attempted to dine here but this was fully booked (on a Friday evening).

   Food was very average. You really needed to add something to liven up the flavour. Hospitality was top notch. Even on a busy Friday night with live entertainment, they made every effort to provide a great service. The place is large and spacious. Can accommodate groups celebrating birthdays and other events.
