Inedible food. Full of what I thought were long hairs (presumably from the person cooking it). However the restaurant took the time to phone me and explain that I was eating long plastic threads from the packaging. My mistake.
Absolutely fantastic! Indiya Indiya is one of the best Indian restaurants in Sutton. The curries are absolutely amazing — full of flavour, rich, and perfectly spiced. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. Whether dining in or ordering takeaway, the food is consistently excellent. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine! The restaurant itself (feels like an establishment from an Only Fools & Horses episode!!!) is heavily dated and could do with refurbishment. Food wise? Simply brilliant!
I have eaten here many times & asked if they could create dishes that aren't on the menu. Every time the food has been absolutely delicious & never disappoints. Fabulous chef & friendly staff, I always recommend this restaurant to my friends who have joined me & also thoroughly enjoyed the food too.
Had a takeaway, and quite frankly it was the poorest quality alleged curry I have ever witnessed. I literally received a bland tomato dish with soggy onions running through it. The meat was supposed to be chicken tikka. It was dry, not the slightest hint of tikka flavour, and the chicken itself was dry and bland. Never again. You have been warned.
Had a delicious meal served in a relaxed atmosphere. An abundance of choice with knowledgeable, courteous service. Will definitely be returning soon.
Ordered food, waited over an hour and a half for them to cancel the order because the DELIVERY driver was too lazy to come and deliver my food to my door. We had to pay a delivery fee and there was no obstruction for the driver not to have made this delivery. Spoke with the manager who had a stinking attitude about the matter who said the delivery driver is working for money and I'm treating him like a "slave" because I'm asking him to do what he is being paid to do. By the looks of the responses that this restaurant has given to other disgruntled customers these people need to learn some customer service skills. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Very average food, it's a Bangladeshi Restaurant. Food was not of Indian Taste. Look for other option if you have or if want to try some look alike of Indian food, try it...
Food was great bit spicy but tolerable. The staff were friendly and very professional. The music was even good. Wasn’t too expensive and got a complimentary drink after our meal. We’ll definitely be coming back
