Unfortunately a very unprofessional setup. Decent for takeaway service - stay away if you are booking for a group of 10+ with any elderly people. Neutral rating on the food as we didn't get that far which is a shame. Service 0 stars Atmosphere 2 stars - we had a nice laugh amongst ourselves about how badly run the place was on the day. Overall 1 star which is a shame as I have come before off peak and enjoyed the food. Will stay away for any important family meet-ups or special occasions as we can't trust the booking will be guaranteed. Full recap below: Not sure where to start... Table for 16 booked weeks in advance for a 2.30pm slot, including one toddler so high seat required, one pregnant lady and four elderly family members. It was our first get together since the passing of an elder in the family. On arrival we were shown to a table of 8 near the door. Fortunately we had 2 drop-outs but this space was still not enough. The boy in charge on the day said another group had taken our table so we had to wait. Time is now 3.00pm Staff kept repeating that they will do something. Boy in charge said wait 15 minutes and he will clear a table. The one he pointed at were only just receiving their mains so definitely that was not true. 3.15pm They bring out a small table to try to extend our small space in the corner, but this would block half of the group behind and prevent them from moving and accessible the toilets without climbing over or crawling under the table. We ask him to take the table back because it is not suitable for our group. Thankfully we managed to find a last minute booking at Casuarina Tree Restaurant, not too far away with great food, lovely family atmosphere and great service. Plenty of space for the toddler to run around, drinks on tap and we tipped them generously for saving our end of year family Christmas meal. I doubt i'll come back here with a family, may do with a small group of friends who don't mind sitting uncomfortably and waiting 1 hour +.

I visited this restaurant and had a very disappointing experience. I spent £40, but the food was not good at all and definitely not worth the price. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable for families – there were lots of people drinking, talking very loudly, and even arguing among themselves. It didn’t feel safe or enjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for families looking for a nice meal out.

Watchme Restaurant is a gem for authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The Chicken 65 Chilli Masala is deliciously spicy, while the Nethaly Poriyal brings a fresh crunch to the meal. Don't miss the Lambrice, which is incredibly authentic and flavorful. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, filled with a mix of Indian and Sri Lankan patrons, indicating its popularity. Our waitress, Sinna, was friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience with her helpful recommendations. Prices are very reasonable for the high-quality food offered. The restaurant’s busy vibe adds to its charm. If you're seeking a taste of Sri Lanka, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for an enjoyable dining experience!

I recently visited Watch me restaurant for my birthday. There was only one lady who was serving everyone and on that day it was quite busy and the prices are too high compared to other restaurants that I have been to. The food was not worth for the prize and I bought chicken 65 sorry but That chicken tasted and smelled really bad and lack of service. I ordered a seafood devil and it was £23 so I was having lots of hope for the price but it was really a disappointment because the seafood that they use is where you can get it from Iceland. I have never seen a starter with a price of a main course and the drinks were too expensive. would I visit this place again in my life? that will be a definite NO!!!!.

Unbelievable find. We asked the waiters to help us as we only wanted traditional Sri Lanken food. It was all delicious and fresh. We'll be back! Forgot to get food before we devoured most of it. 5*

If I could give zero stars I would. We were overcharged by the waitress for drinks and food. We had to phone them up 5 or 6 times but they ignored our claim and the owner never returned our calls even though they had said he will. After a few calls I said we would take them to a small claim court and then the so called “manager” agreed to pay but he only paid back £3.10. However they owed us at least £30 for food and drink. Had to chase them up for almost a week. During that time, they had changed the prices to the menu. Make sure to check the menu price here, your receipt and the food was below average. They should also learn to check their seats. The seat I sat on was broken and whilst tucking my chair in my finger got trapped and started to bleed heavily. The waitress serving us FOOD was picking her nose. Even to think of that is disgusting. She has no food hygiene. When I told the manager he said she was new but that is no excuse for picking your nose.

This my second time . I gave them the feedback last time .this time They served uncooked food. I asked them and they took back burnt the same food and keep on table. I dined the food. One of the staff says you are only person gives complaints. I personally don’t Rex not because of food because of reckless staff words. We pay for the food and they think they serve us freely. Which is very strange !

Overpriced, small quantity and not worth it. 2 egg rolls £1.00... 2 mutton rolls £1.80.... But wow the oil is cholesterol frightening!!!!!!!!! Mutton biriyani is £5.95.... And if u ask for spicy all they do is add green chillies as opposed to making the 'gravy' 'flavour' of the biriyani spicier..... Not really authentic because other wise the flavour and curry added to the rice would be spicy. There's nothing special about this place at all, the interior of the place is outdated and smells. It's a small establishment, the staff are not very attentive and the drinks/liquor menu is overpriced. They have a different menu if ordering online as opposed to visiting which is quite a difference as there is a minimum £20 to order if ordering from their website. The place can get rowdy with young youth or large groups. It's not a very welcoming environment. But the food is cheap and of ok standards. There is no health and safety or hygiene certificates posted so can not say how clean this place is.
