Samrat is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in London! The atmosphere was peaceful and comforting. Loved the Indian style decor too. The chicken jalfrezi and biryani were full of flavour and authentic spices. All the meat was very tender and juicy. The lamb chops for starters are a must have! All the dishes were just how you would want them. They are fresh, tasty and bursting with flavour. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We were served by Yasin, and he was very polite and attentive. I would definitely visit this restaurant again & again!

Wow, not only is the food is amazing but the customer service is on the same level. Mine and my partners anniversary today and she was ill so we opted to have a takeaway instead. They left a note on a chocolate bar packaged with our order saying happy anniversary and the delivery was really nice on delivery just wanted to say thank you so much :)

Just got our take away, kind people over the phone, great classic dishes and tastes wonderful. We asked jalfrezi vindaloo hot, and it was exactly that, nice spices with green chillies and not like other places where they dump tons of chilli powder just because you asked for extra hot. Thanks! See you again.

Read some great reviews online which made this takeaway all the more disappointing. Very watery and bland tikka masalla with fatty lamb chunks thrown in and some soggy rice. Both of us who ate it have had to take the day off work the next day after throwing up. Quite literally the worst curry I've ever had. Will be avoiding.

Ordered a lamb curry a few days ago and it was the worst curry I've ever had. The lamb was all covered in fat and made me feel sick. The sauce of the curry was warm and the chunks of lamb were stone cold. Stay clear from this place! Also the price was way to expensive. Your recieve a watery curry that will be cold and tasty disgusting and pay over the odds.

3 x Chefs & a Mixologist out for the night. Poppadoms. Starters . Mains. All fantastic. Service was good the single waiter looked after us very well. The food was of generous portions. The food was also tasty and flavoursome. It is now a BYO. It's well worth a visit.

If you like your curry houses frozen in 1980-90's nostalgia then Samrat is for you. There's nothing wrong with it and I enjoy my visits. But it's, well, jaded. Food is good, service is excellent, it's now BYOB. I like it.

Haven’t been to Samrat for at least 20 years, visited because of Eat Out to Help Out. Really friendly atmosphere and families with children were very welcome, food was spot on. King Prawn Bhuna with Nans was excellent. Tandoori dishes perfect, bring your own alcohol was also a bonus. Definitely will come back
