I had an amazing meal from Real Taste of India! The Chicken Kizhi Parotta was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the Jallikattu Mandhi was rich and aromatic, and the Chicken Kothu was a delightful blend of spices. The food quality was outstanding, and it arrived fresh and hot. The overall service was excellent, and the value for money was great. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine!

A restaurant that truly lives upto its name. Authentic and absolutely scrumptious delicacies from Kerala, India. We tried the Mussels as well as the Squid Pepper fry which was truly delectable, fresh and perfectly cooked. The Kerala style King Prawns and the King Fish curries reminded us of the traditional coastal cuisine from the West Coast and South of India with lots of coconut and tamarind, best paired with steamed Basmati rice. The service was good right from beginning to end. Our server, Noble, was welcoming, attentive and helpful. Kudos to the team! Looking forward to our next visit!

I recently had a chance to visit with my family for the Onam celebration meal (Sadhya). We had outstanding service not only from the owner but every staff member. The meal was unlimited, served with warmth and a smile. No holding back on the quality of ingredients. I'm looking forward to my next trip and trying their other items on the menu.

Taste of India is the perfect spot to fill our hearts if we are away from home and missing our food. The quality of their dishes and service is highly excellent, and they provide unique dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. Also interesting is their setting and interior decor , which reflects Indian culture.

If you're looking for a decent Kerala cuisine in South London, look no further than this restaurant. The flavors were spot on and transport you straight to the south. The fish pomfret curry was particularly delicious, as well as all the other items we ordered. The service was also great, especially with the staff being very helpful in recommending dishes. The ambiance was decent and inviting and really clean. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to try some delicious South Indian food.

This place is good for proper kerala food, though I'm not one I tried. The food here is tasty and good, the temperature of the food is great its served hot (could have been as the restaurant was not busy when I dined) taste was good. I've listed the food I tried and how it was. 1. Gobi manchurian - tasty, not oily was hot(temperature) had proper balance of taste. 2. Chilli onion masala uttampam - it was good and was big enough to UK standards but, it was slightly undercooked in the centre and lots of chillies. 3. Rassam vada - it's a starter, medu vada dipped in rassam, unfortunately didn't like it as the rassam was very salty and couldn't eat it. 4. Thattu Dosa - all good, set of three palm size Dosa with two types of chutneys and sambar 5. Pothichoru - well saving the best for the last, this was the a great dish really tasty and worth the money, they have vegetarian option (ask before ordering) also you can swap the brown rice with white rice, we weren't served white rice as there wasn't any white rice left. Again this meal was served with the same salty rassam and the same sambar which was given with the dosas. Over all the meal was sufficient for two given the previous orders. The staff are really good kind and friendly - the Pothichoru was a last min upgrade from a different order and they acknowledged it. The place has screening and a TV with some lite music(mostly malayalam songs with a mix of hindi and Tamil) and apart from that it has a bland or dull ambience. My overall experience was good and satisfying, every restaurant has good days and bad days I'm gonna let the salary rassam go as it could have been one of those days. Recommended for a decent dinner especially if you like kerala cuisine.
