Awful quality. Ordered curry, only they used lots of tomato paste and two very small piece of chicken. Ripping off!!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I called up to place an order over the phone for collection, when I put the phone down and closed the menu I had noticed the front of the menu said they were offering 20% off if you spend £30(cash only). All my items came to £28,50. So I thought I’d call up and add something extra to get the deal. When I called up I was told I can’t add to the order?? Because the order was already put through? Which to me doesn’t make any sense?! They just didn’t want to give me the deal! I then said I would cancel the order and then was told ah wait yes you can add one more thing?!?! When I arrived to collect the order and asked for a receipt which I needed for my expenses I was told they don’t give receipts and why do I want one?! Where on earth do you go and not get a receipt?! As a paying customer I’m entitled to one! The service was absolutely appalling the way we were spoken too! I would AVOID this place at all costs and I will NEVER return!!
Really disappointing experience ordering via their website. Money taken but when I showed up for collection they denied all knowledge of it, were rude and dismissive and made no attempt to resolve. Also denied all knowledge of having a website even though I showed them it and the details of my order. Was ignored and treated very poorly. Terrible customer service. All in all a shame as previously have paid in cash and had a much better experience and really enjoyed the food. Will likely now avoid.
I’m gutted to be writing this review, this has been my go to takeaway for over 2 years now and how always been amazing. It has really deteriorated in the last few months the manager has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills and his English is not good so when your delivery finally shows up after hours there are always missing items. Sad to say try somewhere else.
These guys know how to make a good curry. Healthy sized portions, some of the most authentic tasting rice and all food seems to be freshly cooked. I would recommend calling the restaurant to order for delivery or collection apposed to using just eat or the like.
I go to this place regularly but recently have noticed the quantity have been decreasing. But now its almost beyond words, the amount they gave as can be seen in the photo is not even enough to feed one person. Its a disgrace. I called the owner and he dismissed without even care. I think its time to find another place where they treat their regular customers with more respect and not count the amount of food given.
Absolutely horrendous. If I could score minus I honestly would. The meat tasted of ammonia like it had been frozen and thawed multiple times. The naan was cold and hard. I would avoid this place like the plague, especially since when I complained instead of being polite and apologetic they shouted and used profound language. Very poor food. Even poorer service. Don't waste your time or your money.
I love this place - the food I’ve ordered is excellent and it arrives within the advertised time. You do have to wait about an hour, but I have generally found that to be worth it, comparing with other Indian takeaways that are closer and quicker. I would be annoyed, like other reviewers, if I had to wait longer than they said, but that hasn’t happened to me.
I ordered through 'just eat' last night. Being alone I appreciated the £14 minimum order for free delivery as opposed to the usual £20. One of the owners delivered as opposed to a faceless kid in a crash helmet. The food was perfect. Fresh and clean.This chef knows what he is doing. The Biryani was as good as any I have had in India. Move over Fleet Tandoori, you were number one in Gospel Oak and took it for granted. There is a new kid on the block and they are GOOD.
