Absolutely delicious! I had the samosa chat and the Gujarati Dhabeli and it was so tasty. Also the mango lassi was delicious. My partner had the pav bahji which was also very tasty. Will definitely be coming back

I've been here recently and the experience was decent. Nothing out of the ordinary. Decently spaced place with ample amount of seatings. Family friendly and buggy/wheel-chair freindly space. The decor and interior is nothing special. The staff is ok and hospitable only if required and necessary I believe. Food Review : We ordered the Maharaja Thali and it costed us £12. We were there for lunch for 2, so ordered an additional fried chicken schezwan momos and a Mumbai Vada Pav. Total Bill : £22 and change. Food Review : 1. Maharaja Thali - A widespread of different unique flavours with sweet, chaat, a chicken gravy, veg manchuria , chicken 65(x2 pieces), rice, cholay ( chickpeas ) and puri and a small funny cup of tea. ( I say this because they did not even consider giving a usual cup of tea but a mini size of it ) . What a spoiler really! While the taste was on point, the portion sizes are massively small and discouraging. This seemed more like a tasting session rather a wholesome meal and considering the price to value ratio, its even more expensive then eating in Central London as any decent meal for one person would cost you around £12-13 and you can eat sufficiently. Therefore, I would highly not recommend ordering this as it seemed like a gimic where no matter the size you order, the portions will still be small and if lets say you took 2 of them considering its your lunch for the day, thats £24 and that could get you alot of food anywhere in London. The taste of every item served was genuinely good and unique. 2. Fried Chicken Schezwan Momo's The momos were fantastic and the taste and spice were to the point. Was not extremely spicy to my taste buds but if you belong to another culture or ethnicity, you might find it more spicy. Disappointed again as it only had a few pieces to share and price to value ratio beats it again. 3. Vada Pav - Soggy Bread but the Vada was good. Not made hot to the order but taste was overall good. The bread was a massive let down as I have had better ones in SKVP and some other local eateries in Croydon. Overall ; Worth a try? Nah. Could just skip this and try other local eateries. I would not visit again as I am truely a foodie who looks for burst of flavours but most importantly value for money !

I rate their paav bhaji the best and reckon Mumbai/Indian street food to be their strength. The little thali which had a rice dish was so-so and the bhaji was above average. But overall I rate it 5 on 5. A word of advise try to be flexible to patrons who request an item to be substituted with another. It doesn’t cost you anything financially but non financially it costs you goodwill.

Great food, very friendly staff. Vada pav had a slightly different coating but tasted delicious. Pav bhaji was good, ras malai cake is a must try. Good find in Croydon given that there are rare Indian street food restaurants here.

The vada pav evoked the Mumbai spirit and the ragda patties was just out of this world The place may look small but packs a very big spirit for some amazing food. The Chef is very accommodating and can cater to your taste well. The Rasmalai cake is just the right balance of sweetness and is a favourite for all groups

The authentic flavours and textures, tastefully plated..The one word for the food here is 'Delicious'. We just loved the menu options and the chef helped us to pick the best ones. A cute little seating area and friendly service is all you need with good meals. Recommended this to everyone who wants to dwell on flavours of Indian street food. Great work team!

Wow. I really must say, I have never been as impressed with a cafe/restaurant as I have been with Tava. Had such a wonderful talk with one of the partners, such a lovely, caring person who made sure we were well looked after. And everything we ordered from the menu was brilliant, well presented, tasty, good size portions and reasonably priced. Honestly I was so happy with everything. I had the mango mastani and others in my group had the tea. They were both amazing. I can't wait to come back here. Keep up the amazing work guys.
