I love this place. Great staff friendly atmosphere and it’s just down the road from me which is perfect for me and the family.
I used to enjoy Zafran food however I’ll never order again. Just spent twenty five quid on prawn korma which was shrimp not prawn and watery sauce. Sent me Pilau rice when I clearly said plain with egg no extra then sent me paneer sag when they were told paneer mutter. And even the sag was a full container of sauce and five small peices of paneer. I feel robbed and hungry.
Stunningly good food with a wide choice of dishes. Highly recommended and would definitely return but the chapati was a bit dry.
Well what can I say. I love Zafran. Food is alway on point. Great food= great service. Staff alway go above and beyond.
The last visit to this restaurant was a harsh experience. The food is not good at all. Only the rice tastes. The price is very expensive compared to the quality of the food. My best advice to the owner of the restaurant is to close this restaurant I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
Visited tonight for the first time and can say hand on heart will not be the last for me ..GREAT brilliant food and atmosphere...this place made my mates Birthday a night to remember
I'm commenting solely on the takeaway service. The food came on time but wow! For over £50 the portions were ridiculously tiny. The meat containers were half full, the lamb tikka was a weird texture so I'm wondering if it was lamb. The lamb madras was watery and mostly sauce. The. Sag aloo was OK, enough for 4 people but the overall meal was well below standard. There are better Indian takeaways to choose from in Addiscombe. I chose a 'restaurant' takeaway as its New Year's Eve but I won't be ordering from the Zafran again.
