We visited Colonel Saab for hi-tea to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was truly memorable. I had emailed them in advance mentioning the occasion, and they went above and beyond by arranging a beautifully presented pastry with a “Happy Anniversary” topper. The staff were also kind and courteous enough to offer to click our pictures, which made the celebration feel even more special and personal. The service was outclass — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout. The food was delicious, elegantly presented, and made the hi-tea experience feel indulgent and special. Colonel Saab truly excels at hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommended for celebrations and special occasions — we’ll definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing tasting menu. It likely changes throughout the year but attached a picture of the menu and we got to try nearly everything on it. Can't recommend it enough for a tour of Indian cuisine. The alcohol pairings are also fantastic and a decent deal!

Very impressed with the food. The popadoms were fresh and crispy, the chutneys that came with it were absolutely delicious. Then we tried the mall road dahi sev puri which were full of flavour. The kandhari panner tikka was also decent. For mains we had the butter chicken and the daal makhni. This butter chicken was very high quality compared to other indian places I've visited. The breads were perfect, the garlic naan had the right amount of seasoning and the malabar parantha was crispy on the outside and soft underneath. For dessert I recommend the dark chocolate silk cake, presented very well and hit the spot! The service was excellent. Loved the traditional decor, the chandeliers, countless paintings and statues gave off an authentic Indian vibe

Colonel Saab I can't quite put my finger on it but something is missing from the dining experience, if it comes to me I'll update the score and review . I've got to admit the atmosphere is great , only 4* for service as we was waiting 20 minutes before we was asked if we wanted drinks ( no it wasn't full or busy ) the waiter was a nice guy but I feel this is what has made me give a 4* for the food as we was both not sure on the dishes and feel they was not described well enough to us So orded starts which if that all we had I would give 5* as they were amazing , the main dishes were nice and the lamb and chicken was cooked to perfection but the flavours / spices just seemed to not agree with mine or my wife taste . Just not for us Portion size is great but the final bill was on the high side Cocktails again very nice but pricing . Would we visit Colnel Saab ... Yes but we would ask more questions before ordering .

Delicious food, beautiful decor, and great service. We ordered the chaat, cauliflower, butter chicken, and milk cake. All the dishes were delicious. Our server was very attentive, gave us wonderful recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised as this seems to be more of a local neighborhood spot. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area.

I spent my b-day with friends here and it was great. We booked a table for 5 but we ended up with in total 8. They managed to change the table without any trouble despite the restaurant was fully booked. Staff was amazingly helpful and super friendly. Food was delicious and all people loved it. This place is highly recommended. And even if you don't need to go to the restroom, do it! The pictures at the wall are amazing. Just spend some time and check out all, upstairs and downstairs - it's lovely and furnitured with love and passion in details.

We reserved the private dining area last night and all of us were extremely happy with the food and high level of service. We would also like to thank the manager for giving us a tour, he explained things very well in a wonderful, engaging way. Every dish we ate was full of flavour, I did particularly enjoy the lamb shanks and chops but seriously just experiment a little with the flavours and you will be amazed. Thank you for having us. We will be back.

A tasteful (both in terms of flavors and decoration) Indian restaurant in the heart of London. Loved the vegetarian options (the cauliflower fish was my favorite), very attentive and polite stuff, great music and choices of wines and cocktails. Creamy chicken was also a great hit for us. Don’t miss trying the cheesecake.

Incredible meal. Everything was so tasty, great flavours and ingredients. Interesting spin on some classic dishes and some I’d never heard of before. Small but varied and well thought out menu with something for everyone including plenty of vegan/ vegetarian choices. Thought the plates would be small but I have leftover for tomorrow (my husband doesn’t but he’s stuffed!) Staff were charming, attentive and non intrusive. We spent the whole night here relaxed. The atmosphere, plates, decor and music were great as was the drink selection.
