I ordered take away from what appeared to be their website (I later found out this is outsourced to third parties). Delivery was meant to take 30-45 minutes. 2 hours later, 4 calls to both the VC restaurant itself AND the third party website operator), my food finally arrived. What made me most angry was that the restaurant kept promising it was just a few minutes away. In the end I had to make dinner for my kids because it was past their bedtime. The website operator finally 'promised' me a refund (surprise! They didn't in the end) and my food suddenly appeared 10 minutes later. The food was average...all curries basically the same flavour with more or less chilli. I won't be returning.

Always an excellent meal. I had chicken dupiaza and my wife had a vegetable curry main dish. We shared a special rice and a paratha. Delicious meal and excellent staff. I highly recommend, ten out of ten.

I tried the tikka masala few months months ago and it was loverly, a bit pricey and small portion but was good to tried again this week and I got the worst masala I ever had in my life. Just tasted like old tomato paste , did they change chef? Or I was unlucky with a bad batch. Shame really as the first round tasted good.

Nice little curry house I went to post movie. Food was lovely and the staff friendly. Will be going again.

Really underwhelmed by the naans. Both the chilli and garlic naans tasted very similar (no real flavour). Rogan Josh was under spiced with the overriding flavour being tinned tomatoes. Not the worst Indian meal I've ever had but a long way off the best.

I want not asked at all if the food was OK the service was slow because the staff were too buy on their phones portions were good but the chicken although moist on the outside was dry on the inside soft drinks very expensive and overall fairly tasteless no good.

Best Indian restaurant we've had food from in Beckenham/Bromley/Croydon. The chefs are happy to adapt orders and make food how desired.

Called to make an order at 10.30pm. Business closes at 11.30 pm. Reception asks the driver if he will deliver to my postcode (even though I have ordered before) and reception came back to the phone and lied and said the driver left to go home already. ( I speak bengali so unlucky for getting caught. Bad business.

Awful food. Every single dish we ordered tasted the same. No atmosphere, the place looks depressing. It was late and it was the nearest place we could have something to eat. The place didn't look warm and inviting. Could get better curry from your local Sainsbury's.

Been here a few times in the past. Food wasn't particularly great. I also really love the tacky decorations and carpet. It would also be great if they wouldn't stick their finger into the dishes when I complain that it's cold! I've even heard from some friends that they've had a similar experience with the atrocious lapse in hygiene standards. Won't be coming here ever again.
