Went to getting grandsons shoes fitted no choice was offered as only one pair he could have fit in to so told go online which then won’t be fitted. staff never tried talking to baby and I left very disappointed I’ve since took shoes back as felt very disappointed start to finish went elsewhere paid more buy got a better standard of customer care
Big thanks to Oliver who helped us with our little boys sandals today. Initially went in for shoes but decided on sandals for the summer. He bought out a few pairs and was very gentle with my little boy when measuring him up and advising us. Thank you again.
The 5 stars are for the shoes and young man who served us, not the whole experience. I took my grandson for his 1st pair of shoes. The member of staff who actually served us was great. He was patient, helpful, and didn't seem to get stressed when baby didn't want to have his feet measured, he couldn't have been any better, just a very nice young man, along with another male member of staff who offered extra help. I had a bit of trouble getting out of the shop. They had a barrier and a lady manning it. For some reason she mustn't have been able to see two adults with a pram waiting to get past her in her peripheral vision, another member of staff shouted her to get her attention, she then moved to the side but didn't move the barrier, when I mentioned I wouldn't be able to get the pram out she moved it a little to give us the smallest space to get out.(I work in retail so I'm always polite to staff as I know how hard it can be when dealing with customers. For some reason she wasn't being helpful at all.) Apart from that, we were very pleased with the service from the 2 young men who served us and the shoes.
This review is regarding staff and not the shoes themselves. I've been three times now for my little ones shoes. I have found the staff great expecially Heather. She was so patient even when my little one decided he wouldn't try any shows on as they were all rubbish.
My experience was very awful,very discriminative and I pray no one should experience by what I faced at the Bolton Clarks store. The service manage ability to treat people the way she think she could, was incredibly awful. Especially spraying disinfectant at people were there are kids involve was concern and with no remorse. I will never shop there again.
Ordered a pair of school shoes, went to collect them. Was asked if they were fitted when we bought them and I said no. The sales assistant just shoved the box of shoes in my hand and said 'well try them on there' and pointed to a seat. We were left to try on my daughters shoes with no fitting advice or checks. Thoroughly disappointed at the level of service. Wont be going to this branch again. Staff are very rude.
Great store and great experience. I got my son's feet measured there, 2 staff double checked his measurements and I got him a very comfortable set of school shoes. The store was well laid out, nice and clean. The 2 members of staff we dealt with were lovely, helpful and not at all pushy. They treated my son very well.
