   I visited on the 21/12/25 and was helped by Toby (not sure how it’s spelt!) and she was incredible! I told her what I was looking for and she knew immediately what would work best and helped me with sizing and trying on. The entire process was a breeze and it was a brilliant first experience shopping at a Dr Martens store!

   exceptional service today by toby. they were very attentive and knowledgable, offering items to make the shoes comfier and easier to slip on, my partner ended up walking away with a new pair of shoes (and socks) haha! i hope to see toby next time we visit to help us find a great shoe that fits my partners style. 10/10

   I bought a pair of limited-edition shoes from the Dr. Martens - Manchester Piccadilly less than a year ago for £200. As a premium, limited-edition purchase, I expected top-tier comfort and durability. I’ve barely worn them, so to say I’m surprised is an understatement. The inner sole/footbed has worn down unevenly in the exact area where I stand, making them uncomfortable to wear. For shoes at this price point—especially a limited drop—it doesn’t reflect the durability or quality I associate with the brand. I no longer have the original receipt, but even without that, the wear level just doesn’t make sense given how lightly they’ve been used. I’ve included a photo that clearly shows the issue. I still love the style and brand, which is why this stings a bit. I hope the support team can help with a fair resolution, whether that’s replacement, repair, or store credit, because right now they’re more display piece than wearable shoe. Overall: iconic look, disappointing sole quality (literally). Am happy to attach photos for the shoes if requested its the Limited edition one

   Bought a new pair yesterday and could not be more grateful to the staff member who helped me. They were patient and brought me out three different pairs as I could not decide which ones I wanted to get. I didn’t manage to get a name but it says on my receipt Caitlin so that may be the staff member. They were super friendly and polite! :) if I were local to Manchester I would definitely go back

   Went into Dr Martens with my partner to pick out a new pair of boots as a graduation gift. The young man who helped us was really great, attentive and patient when we tried on about 5 pairs, 5 stars to him, however another member of staff who I’m guessing was the manager has really soured the review and trip. I decided whilst we were in there that I wanted to purchase some myself. I tried on a few pairs and settled on one. I was carrying them around in the box with me ready to take to the till whilst my partner was looking at some others. I had 3 members of staff come up to me asking to take the box off of me, I told each one I wanted to buy them and was just waiting for my partner to make his final decision then we were going to pay together. The manager then came over, snatched them off me and put them behind the till where they got packed away and taken back downstairs. I really don’t understand why! If it wasn’t for the young man helping us and making the rest of our experience great, I really wouldn’t have bothered and would’ve just left and ordered online. Had to then wait for another pair to be retrieved from the basement. Just feel it was quite odd behaviour!
