   Dined here as part of a reservation. The restaurant was extremely understaffed, with just one waitress for several tables. Service was very slow; we waited nearly 10 minutes just for glasses, and some of us had finished our food before and were still waiting for water. Dessert service was equally bad. I ordered gulab jamun with ice cream, but an extra cake we hadn’t ordered arrived instead. My dessert didn’t come until after everyone else had finished, despite multiple reminders, and when it did, the ice cream had been forgotten. At that point I told the waitress to forget about it since my party had all finished eating and were getting ready to leave. The gulab jamun itself was clearly a ready-made boxed one reheated too much in the microwave; it came burning hot and chewy from being overdone, which I would not expect from an “authentic” Punjabi restaurant. This is clearly a management issue caused by cost-cutting at the expense of service and food quality. Atmosphere was nice in the restaurant which gave me high hopes at the start but unfortunately that’s not enough for me to bring up the review as I only care about food and service if I’m visiting a restaurant. I will not be returning and would recommend against.

   Lovely food, you will not be disappointed, also a nice selection of drinks. I had a small mix grill and fish pakora and for mains, we had the butter chicken for the kids and Punjab Chicken.

   Great find, authentic Indian food. It's one of the best Chole Bhatura i have had recently. Tandoori Chicken was well-done and spicy as well. There are not many parking spots in the area, so I usually prefer going late evening when the parking restrictions are relaxed.

   Came to visit this restaurant after hearing good reviews from friends and I wasn’t disappointed. Abdul went way and beyond to give us a great dining experience, from the starters (poppadoms and dips, meat samosas, lamb chops) to recommending the goat curry which was amazing. I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant. 5*

   We decided to try this newly opened restaurant in the neighbourhood. We liked the taste of everything and would definitely return. Samosa filling could be little bit more spicier but its not bad and better than what we tried so far in this neighbourhood. Goat curry was really good and highly recommended:)

   Used this restaurant in it's previous guise of Punjab and was disappointed when it changed hands and became Indiagate. Fears were confirmed on the first visit. Heard recently ownership had changed again and decided to give it another go. The improvement was marked. Food much better and a general impression that the place was well set to get back to former glories.

   Very authentic North Indian food. Went there with friends, we all enjoyed a variety of starters and mains. The service was brilliant , we were attend by friendly and lovley staff. The chef came out to meet and asked if all was good. I would highly recommend and go there again

   I often order from this restaurant, its different to all the Indian restaurants in the local area. The difference is that they cook proper authentic Indian food - unlike other restaurants which cook flavourless commercialised Indian food. I have been into the restaurant as well, it has a great atmosphere for families and would make the perfect venue for booking birthday meals, Christmas meals and various other celebrations. P.S. I would recommend the Veg Biryani, it's packed with flavour and genuinely its the best I've had locally!
