If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely donβt buy from this place. I sent my return back 6 weeks ago, through their returns portal on the website, weeks went by and I emailed to see where my refund was, no response, another week went by, emailed again, no response, then tried to call their helpline, which is basically there for show because it just either hangs up on you straight away or keeps you on hold for 40 minutes then hangs up anyway, finally got a response from them and theyβre telling me theyβve not received my parcel even though DPD says it is with the retailer, theyβre now trying to tell me that because they havenβt received my return that I need to take it up with DPD but as per the Customer Contracts Regulations act of 2013, my contract is with them and if I can provide proof of postage (which I did) then they must refund me and itβs up to them to find out where the return went. Now a week after this discussion theyβre trying to tell me I arranged the delivery independently even though I did it all through their returns portal. They are clearly absolutely useless and Iβm not the only person going through this going by the reviews, so I have contacted trading standards and will be raising a charge back through my bank. Never known anything like this in my life. Absolutely shocking company

Whenever I shop at Moda in Pelle, I always have a truly wonderful experience. The store consistently offers a beautiful selection of shoes that are not only stylish and modern but also incredibly comfortable β a rare combination! As someone who often struggles to find shoes in my size, Iβm always pleasantly surprised that I never leave empty-handed here. The range is impressive and clearly chosen with care. What sets this store apart, though, is the exceptional customer service. I genuinely believe Moda in Pelle offers some of the best service in the city. The staff are always attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Today, I was helped by Lydia, who made my shopping experience even more enjoyable. She was friendly, patient, and went out of her way to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. Thank you again to the team β Iβll definitely be back soon!

Visited Moda In Pelle, the Royal Exchange, Manchester in need of a pair of replacement boots for my partner, who had lost a heel from her only pair of boots with her, whilst out the night before (a real Cinderella moment !). The store manager, Kerry, ably supported by Kelsey, found a choice of 3 options, of which one was perfect ! Traditional service with a contemporary approach, I only have praise for the store and their fabulous staff. A rarity to find in retail nowadays, this little gem of a boutique is a must-visit on your next trip to Manchester. Many thanks

Superb service. Moda in Pelle really have a streamlined set up. Ordered and received swiftly, excellent product, reordered trainers in another colour so comfortable and calling customer service with a query was very easy and a perfect result from someone who could make a decision, somethingthat rarely happens in many companies. If I could choose zero stars I would. I purchased for the first time recently having seen shoes I liked in the sale. Within 2 weeks the decorative buckle on one of the shoes just fell off. It turns out to return goods even if they are faulty you have to either go to store or cover the postage yourself and apply for a refund of this cost. I chose to go to store and to be fair the staff in store were helpful but they couldn't refund me direct or do a simple exchange instead they had to request a refund and i had to pay the price of a second replacement pair. Before doing so I sought assurance that this wasn't a common issue with this particular style of shoe and was told that no they had had no problems. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for the refund to go through which it did on the exact same day the exact same thing happened to the second pair of shoes. And so the inconvenience began again. The nearest store is 40 minutes away from me so this time I paid the postage. 6 days on despite having proof of delivery I have yet to receive any acknowledgement or refund. Having chased yet again I am being told it cam take 10 days for the refund to be started then upto 5 days for it actually to be credited to your account. I have never dealt with a company with such a diabolical returns policy, lack of customer service and quite frankly poor quality of merchandise. One fault happens, 2 in 2 weeks suggests a significant issue none of which the company is prepared to do anything about.

What a shocking experience I have had. No way I would want to turn my hands to this shop again. Decent shoes but horrible manager. He is very arrogant and unpleasant and his customer service skills are nil.
