   I usually love El Che, their quesidillas and burritos are usually full of deliciousness. Tonight's was average at a push but that isn't what has left such a bad taste in my mouth. That is courtesy of the shall we say delightful young woman who answered the phone when I called to complain that my son's popcorn chicken had come minus fries. She spent a good 5 minutes arguing with me that a menu item I have been ordering for 5 years did not come with fries and refused to.listen when I told her it most certainly did and stated so on deliveroo, barnsley eats and El Che's own website. After passing me over to her alleged manager who again protested that no fries were included for a few minutes the 2nd woman obviously found out for herself that popcorn chicken does in fact COME WITH FRIES. Both of those staff members need to train in customer service and maybe pay more attention to what's on their menu. This experience has massively disappointed me as I usually find the guys in El Che great and when it's done properly their food is easily my favourite takeaway in Barnsley

   Ordered from this place and the food arrived around 20 minutes later than the latest expected delivery time. When I called to explain that the food was lukewarm, with some items completely cold, the lady on the phone initially tried to help. However, after muting the call to speak to someone else, she came back and accused me of being abusive, saying she would hang up if I continued — which I wasn’t. I politely asked for the food to be collected and for a refund, but was told I could only request this through Just Eat. Absolutely ridiculous service.

   Just to make anyone ordering calzone kebab aware that these are not the same as elsewhere. They contain no tomato sauce or cheese like you get at other takeaways. Its just dry calzone bread and dry kebab meat cooked into it lol. I phoned up to complain to be told it depends which chef is on, the girl was lovely and went to speak to someone but then came back and said apparently you have to ask if you want cheese. I don't know if this applies to all pizzas or just calzones. I find it strange personally. Binned it before we choked on it!

   Went to get some food and service was quick and efficient. Amazing food filled me up. Atmosphere was amazing and had a good conversation with some of the workers. Lovely and cheerful. Will 1000% be going again many times.

   I enjoyed the food and the delivery was on time I ordered on uber eats. I cant criticise in this department, don’t really understand what all the bad reviews are for. However I find the pricing abit on the higher side but the food is nice so i would happily rate 5 star. The reason for the 3 star review is my wife was eating her burrito and suddenly got an awful sharp stabbing in her cheek. As photographed below we discovered this sharp plastic in her burrito, not good El Che how does this even happen?. Fortunately she just scratched her cheek but man i eat fast, if this was in my burrito i bet i would have hurt myself bad. I just don’t think this is good enough.

   Very unprofessional ordered from them on Uber eats they said they would be handling delivery when order was 20 minutes late I called the store and they said it was on the way 2 hours later "order completed" store is closed and I did not get my order poor form bloody ridiculous now I'm cooking at 2 in the morning

   Food is very good , but second time when we ordered from them was late . Last time took them over hour 3 miles . Today it took 2 hours and every time You call them answer is "not long from now " won’t order anymore from them. Chips cold and old

   All the food arrived late, cold and stale. The chips had clearly been microwaved, you could tell from the state of the box so they knew the food was cold and had been sat awhile before sending it out. The burger bun was hard and stale. Pizza was flat cold too but that probably wouldn’t fit in the microwave. If I wanted microwaved food I’d have bought a ready meal, probably would have enjoyed it more and it would have been a hot meal. Shocking. Don’t waste your money.

   i ordered and the food was absolutely gorgeous really rate their pepperoni cheesy chips. the staff were very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. will definitely be ordering again and will be a regular customer :)

   Food took an hour longer longer than expected delivery time provide by restaurant. When it arrived, the pitta tough, naan was solid an inedible, donner was rubbery and chicken dry. Quesedilla was not nice either. Called them after 40 minutes past the latest delivery time quoted and got a "sorry, it is still in the restaurant" will be going out soon. Still took another 20 minutes. Driver was cheerful, but the whole experience was not good. Ate as much as we could as so hungry after the wait. Not happy.
