   This takeaway has just reopened under new owners, the food is absolutely delicious, the chicken curry is the best I've ever tasted in my life including Chinatown in London. I highly recommend you try this Chinese for yourself.

   Wasnt a fan of the old owners food... Tried the new... Small portions, for the price but just small in general. Chow main/noodles very greasy. Sweet and sour sauce nice, but chicken battered balls chewy. Hoping they can improve!

   A newly reopened takeaway, under new management. We are new converts, having not been a complete fan previously. Opening night tonight and we are new converts! Extensive menu, flovoursome food, served hot . Special request for fried rice (without egg) was no problem. Great to have a good Chinese takeaway locally. Also good value for money.

   Worst Chinese I have EVER had ....ordered a chow mein which was basically a load of thin noodles flung 9n with a few beansprouts and a smattering of meat and 1 x prawn. Cant describe what the prawn toast was....tasted like eggy bread or French toast.

   Staying in York, decided to have a Chinese found this takeaway. The worst food we had on our 4 day holiday. Main dishes were watery and tasteless. Chicken chow Mein burnt mush only half full container ended up in bin anyway. Take my advice and keep going and spend your money somewhere else.

   We made an order our chicken chow mein was all burnt and only half full in the tub, I rang up to tell them the lady didn't care at all she just said ok I'll tell the chief she never once said sorry to me, we've had a few orders from these and every single time weve ring up the lady is extremely rude. We rang up tonight the lady told us we had to spend a tiny bit more for delivery so we added prawn crackers to make up the order for her to tell us we'll still be getting charged for delivery so we told her that's not right so she said do u want to cancel? then obviously we said yes but absolutely rude as hell, definitely need a new member of staff on reception!!! Never again will we order from you!

   Usually buy from here and it's great however tonight the Chinese chicken curry had literally 5 pieces of chicken in it. Was mainly onions! The crispy chilli beef was soggy. Not happy for the price we paid. Will continue to use the usual beckfield lane chinese.
