I wouldn't even give 1 star. This was the most horrible food we have ever had. I've ordered vermicelli and pad Thai and chicken hot curry with few starters. What a disappointment!! It was so bland, slimy and disgusting we thrown it away. And believe me I am not the kind of person who throws away good. Never again

Pre-ordered 5 diferent items from their menu with a set pick-up time because I was running a tight schedule. Got the order confirmation text. I got there and the staff did not receive my order. Had to leave with hungry, disappointed children. If they can't get the order system right, I can't trust them to cook the food right. Never going back there.
The staff are very friendly. Good place to grab some food quickly. Simple menu but sufficient. The food tastes like they don't use as much flavouring as some other Chinese takeaway. This is good and what I would prefer.
Just ordered the sweet and sour chicken, beef pork and duck curry and egg fried rice and chicken wings in honey and sweet chilli sauce absolutely perfect will be back soon
Giving 2 stars as the portion size was decent, spring rolls were lovely, it came within a reasonable time and food was still hot but that’s where the good stuff ends… the sweet & sour sauce that was with the spring rolls was very thin and tasted of vinegar, and the curry chicken udon was so bland with chicken that was so overcooked it was like eating tough cardboard. Won’t be ordering from here again
Food came quickly and was still hot, considering it was 6 miles away. That’s as far as the good bit goes I’m afraid! Food was soooo bland! Thai food should be full of flavour and aromatic but this food was like it had been boiled in a stock cube! I’ve never had to add salt to Thai food before but this food really needed it! Sorry but not very authentic or tasty at all!
If only the food we ordered matched the delicious smell coming from this Takeaway, it really would have been great. Unfortunately, our meals were awful. My Red Duck curry such a huge disappointment, as the old Duck was so tough I could barely cut it and the dish was soooooo oily, with very little typical Red curry flavour and I certainly don’t remember trying to eat so much Broccoli & thick sliced carrots in Thailand. The Green King prawn curry was much the same, brimming with oil, but not from the usual baby aubergines, because there were none. Some of the prawns tasted old & mushy and all the veg was soggy. The Prawn Pad Thai was bland and the noodles tasted more like egg noodles(?), not the proper rice ones so it was no surprise when the Jasmin rice was very sticky, Japanese style! The were none of the usual Thai ingredients present such as Kafir leaves, lemon grass, aubergines or even Fish sauce, so we definitely won’t be smelling this Orchid again!
