   Oh no, oh no, oh no no no no no. OK let's be right, I'm honest. Sometimes brutal, but it's honest. OK so I was greeted by a dark entrance with just a neon were open sign on the door (could've fooled me) and upon entering saw a oriental fella shouting and pointing at an equally oriental woman. No other customers were in. A late teenager took my order, beef curry, beef fried rice, 2 spring roll, fried crab claw, beef broccoli in oyster sauce, chips and a chicken balls with sweet sour sauce. Wait time apx 10 minutes. Back home I empty the plastic carrier and head straight for the sweet sour sauce, always a good marker for the quality of the food. Scores 0/10. Pink not red, watery not thick, so bland. Absolutely rubbish. Beef curry, light brown, watery sauce, quite oily and the beef rice wasn't nice. Beef broccoli, my wife said it was the worst thing she'd ever put in her mouth (phew) and left most of it. Chips were OK. Crab claws, never seen a crab, spring rolls were very very greasy, but, I know, the chicken balls were plentiful but average. This place used to be the go to place in Hemsworth for a good Chinese meal & really good atmosphere but now... 0/10 I only went there as my usual take out place in Upton is closed, I think the family are on holiday, but I'll never go back to the welcome Chinese again. Double entry is simply this. If the welcome Chinese is your 'Go-to' Chinese, trust me, try some where else. End of

   I have just received the 'Happy Box' it definitely is not happy nor did it make me happy. I'm sat here now contemplating life and how people get away with selling food like this. The chips are insipid and soggy, the chicken inside the chicken balls is hard, the ribs are dryer than the Sahara and the curry sauce has a strange taste.

   If you’re anything like me I tend to spend £30-£40 on Chinese trying to get everything I want but end up picking and leaving most I realised you can get a “happy box” from here for £9.30 and it basically a munch box does me and my partner and we’re now spending around £10-20 when we order for exactly what we want and can eat ordering for less but with more taste than surrounding chineses I’ve tried

   HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Ordered Soft noodles, egg fried rice, salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips with curry sauce. The food is astounding! Moved into the area recently but already my new favourite! Just wish they would do bottles of dr.pepper too!
