   Chinese take away. We had salt and pepper wings, satay chicken and special chowmein. Wings had chilies and were both greasy and soggy in places. The satay chicken was tough and a very thin and not peanutty taste. The chowmein was bland. In fact it tasted as if all that was in the sauce was noodle water. There was hardly any meat or vegetables. The meat that was there was really nicely cooked. Sadly we will not be using this takeaway again because it was not to our taste.

   Gave them a second chance, visiting the area and last year the meat content in two dishes was very poor all grissle.Phoned and told them and they said they would ring me back, they didn't.Tried again today and two meals were very bland, even the curry was watery.Comb starter was poor except for the Prawn toast which was great.Will not return.A shame really it used to be good a few years back.

   Great local takeaway with friendly staff, very good food at a reasonable price. We are happy every time we order from Lee Cottage. The set menu meals are really good value for money, excellent prawn toast, nice Chinese chips and the fried rice is perfect.. the Beef in black bean sauce is a favourite.

   Best Chinese around, a little surprised to read the couple of negative reviews, we’ve been going for years and never ever had a bad meal. I guess everyone has different taste but we’ve always had great and attentive service and delicious red hot, tasty food every single time. Highly recommend.
