   In the area for work and this little place was only a short walk from.my hotel and had good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try and it did not disappoint. I ordered the house special for one to sample a little bit of everything and the food was well presented and very tasty. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely return. Clean surroundings and friendly service too.

   It's the second time I've been here and in all honesty, the food and service was excellent and the steak was cooked to perfection. I would return. As per some other reviews, the toilets are a bit grubby but apart from that an excellent experience.

   Been a few times now and the food, venue and staff are all lovely. Varied menu with something for all tastes. Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable and we're able to help with some food allergies in our party. Most dishes can be served gluten free and there are great vegan and vegetarian options.

   Love this place! Well situated in a central location in Barnsley Town centre. Small enough to create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Staff are friendly, welcoming and attentative. Even though busy, we didn't have to wait long for any of the courses. Always well presented and extremely tasty. Even the drinks prices weren't overly expensive. Quality restaurant, quality food, and an enjoyable experience.

   Attended as a group of four and were immediately greeted by a supremely helpful waitress who was superb all night. The food was absolutely brilliant and we all thought it was fantastic. Service was friendly and helpful without being fussy or overpowering. Four starters, four mains, three rounds of drinks for £30 each was stunning value. Really, really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

   We attended Lemon Tree on Saturday 8 October 2022 at Lunch time, as a table of three people. We had three main courses and puddings from the menu. The food was delicious, and had lovely customer service, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

   Visited here 16th February whilst over visiting family. For a Wednesday evening there was a really lovely atmosphere, staff very friendly and food amazing! I had sucuk (grilled Turkish sausage with cucumber and mint dip) followed by lamb shish kebab - absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.
