Genuinely awful. Hair in food. Noodles made in the early 2000s and warmed up this morning. Chicken tenders and pieces bought at the local Iceland. Could pumice your feet with the chicken wings. Have they paid everyone to leave 5 star reviews on here and Uber? Because there is no way a human has taste buds that are that wrong.
Be careful when you order wings from here. Last 2-3 times I’ve been, they look and taste like they’ve been cooked a few days ago. Absolutely rock hard and a strange taste. In fact I’d put my mortgage on them not being cooked today. Chips are usually fresh though.
Me and my boyfriend got the absolute bargain deal at Bobby’s Salt & Pepper,buy one get one free on their salt and pepper chips with curry sauce. Honestly, you don’t even understand how delicious it is. The chips were crispy and full of flavour and that curry sauce? Spot on We also got some noodles and prawn crackers on the side, just to make sure we had a bit of everything. There’s loads more on the menu but when something as simple as chips and curry sauce can blow you away like that, you know it’s good. Can’t wait to order again, seriously recommend it! Oh and delivery? Under 30 mins ❤️
2 words. Never Again. Food wasn’t too bad, was very spicy and heavy. Woke up in the middle of the night, throwing up the food. Haven’t stopped since. The only explanation for it is this food. Several other people I know who have eaten here have also said they have had upset stomachs and been very poorly. Please never go here
[Update] Been going here occasionally after the pub. Usually get our order super quick, then get the bus back to Dewsbury (to go to Huddersfield). Today we were waiting over fifteen minutes. Missed our bus, but another wasn't far behind. Guess it just shows how popular the place is. Especially around 7/8pm. First time going. Had a bit of time before our bus. Both got box meals and they were lovely. We'll worth the money. Tasty and filling. The chips were especially nice, very crispy. Will probably try a full portion of their chips next time. We were sat waiting for less than ten minutes. They had half a dozen people working in the kitchen, most seemed quite young but all very professional. Nice good after a session at the pub :-)
Very nice salt and pepper chicken pieces. I would say one of the best I’ve tasted. Top notch pleasant staff. A must try if your in the area.
Not much choice in Chinese meals, seems to be more popular with mixed box meals. The special curry that we choose was too spicy but portions were a good size and prices were reasonable
We had our first meal from Bobby's last night. A selection of dishes including Box 3, sweet and sour crispy chicken and salt and pepper chips. Everything was delicious and very good portion sizes. My son said the salt and pepper chips were the best he's ever had. We'll definitely be returning.
We had been waiting to come here for a while and finally popped in the other night. We ordered box 3 & 5 and not only were they incredibly tasty but the amount you get is also good value for money. The highlights were definitely the chicken wings/bites and prawn toast! Salt & Pepper chips were surprisingly really good as well as a lot of places don’t do them that well but Bobby’s were crispy and fluffy inside. The staff were also great too! It will 100% become a regular treat for us.
Spot on. Chinese with a twist. Chicken burger with prawn toast, honey sriracha wings, spring rolls. Salt n pepper chips. Really good food, delivered quickly too. Definitely worth a visit. Will be back.
