Chips greasy, rice plain no flavour , noodles stiff, chicken balls cremated, spring rolls burnt. Chicken was off, smelt foul! Not able to eat anything of it. All went in the bin. Absolutely terrible. What a waste of money. Never again!
Used to always get a munch box from here but wrnt be no more it was nasty. Chips greasy, noodles was like they have being left out for a while and chicken balls taste wired even our dog didn't eat it, would not recommend ordering from here, don't waste your money. Have a awful taste in my mouth!!
1st time ordering, it came wrong, charged disgusting prices for quality and was unwilling to sort. Was called a liar that what we got is what we asked for. Won't be returning
I ordered in January we don’t often get take aways but too tired to cook after working all week the sweet and sour chicken was absolutely amazing good portion too value for our money we love chans my husband Sean said Thank you for free prawn crackers too xxx
Ordered salt and pepper chicken wings tonight. There was definitely no salt or pepper on them at all, and the chicken didn't taste nice at all. Usually their ok, won't be ordering again. Feel sick now.
First time using Chan’s this evening. Asked a friend after seeing the munch box. Ended up getting our usual order from our other local but this was second to non. Compliments to everyone in this place. The beef in oyster sauce was cooked to perfection, flavoursome, not chewy. The sweet and sour chicken was something like I’ve never tasted before. Prawn toast was cooked lovely. Chicken balls not greasy and very juicy. Only thing I’d say is the BBQ ribs should be more saucy ;) All hot on collection and still hot when we got home, friendly staff. Very helpful. Amazing value for money and THIS WILL NOW BE MY NEW FAVOURITE. Thank you guys!
Absolutely disgusted ordered beef in blackbean sauce ate a bit and it tasted like mould, took a close look at the beef and each piece had tiny white dots all.over it. Rang restaurant they tried to tell me it was lazy garlic. I cook fresh meals every day it was not lazy garlic. It was like tiny white heads coming out of the beef it was 100% rotten they offered an exchange but I was not willing and will never eat from there again atleast admit the error not come up with a lame lie and they were very adamant they wanted to come collect it which I refused if I'm ill through the night I want the rotten food here with me as proof
Not worth it, Food is not good at all. Ordered the £15 box which looked great value on the menu. What they don't tell you is that the portions are tiny. I counted 5 pieces of salt and pepper chicken with a handful of chips, two wan tons with nothing inside, the spring rolls were mushy and the sweat and sour chicken was just random fried chicken pieces with some bland gloop. You're better off going to The Jade and ordering the £7.50 meal deal.
