We've ordered several times from China Red and always enjoyed the food, but tonight the food was more delicious than usual. We had to wait nearly 90 minutes for delivery but food arrived at the exact time they'd stated on line and was well worth the wait.
We first discovered China Red after being drawn in by the most gorgeous smell while walking past one day – and we’re so glad we did! Since then, it has become our favourite Chinese. The food is always full of flavour, the portions are incredibly generous (and at such good prices), and everything is prepared and delivered so quickly – once it even arrived in under 10 minutes! On top of that, the delivery driver is always so kind and friendly. We couldn’t recommend China Red more highly.
Not used China Red for a while after being let down (our food never arrived),so we have given them another try ,glad we did ,lovely food ,fresh ,hot and tasty,,lovely delivery lady ,arrived promptly,will use again
Third time we have ordered from here food was hot,delicious, portions were generous & reasonably priced.Order arrived quickly at the exact time we were told & delivery staff were very friendly.Can't fault it
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY . Just ordered for a takeaway, got it home and it went straight in the bin. Sweet and sour chicken was diluted down that much it was barely coloured and tasted disgusting, chow mein looked like it had been re heated for about 3 days on the trott. This place used to be great but standards have gone down the pan
Diabolical tonite! Firstly delivered with half the contents swilling about in the delivery bag! Also driver couldn’t find has address instructions were left in comments but were written in Chinese!When opened to serve out for our guests,Singapore fried rice had got shrimp and pork in the ingredients but they had managed to keep the ‘heat’ down has requested,as when I rang to tell them I was told the special options box hadn’t been filled in! The heat from the Singapore fried rice had been saved for the Japanese mixed meat udon,inedible! Come on chia red this is not of your usual standard
Very poor curry this evening. Rice was like jelly and this only means, very poor quality grade of rice. Phoned in and complained but said rice was OK. Beef curry we ordered but was more like mushroom curry. Poor curry and we didn't enjoy it so in the bin it went. Not be using again after so many years. Bye bye CR.
Our order came to £29.00 31 with delivery definitely wasn't worth it ....Dry satay chicken no sauce .... very dry straight in the bin, chips over cooked quarter duck very dry slimey cucumber.. majority went in the bin definitely won't order from here again
China Red is our favourite Chinese locally. Amazingly quick delivery, fantastic food and great portions. So glad back up and running! The best chinese takeaway in the area by a country mile. Had a fairly big pre-order on day one that arrived on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Was worried about it given the three months on hiatus but totally didn't need to be. Will be back again very soon!
