   Absolutely appalling treatment of a customer. Shouted at by Abdul who refused to listen and just shouted over me. I have used Paya since the 90’s. Never again. Driver called to tell me he’s on my doorstep, he wasn’t. Driver took my delivery to the wrong postcode despite my postcode being correct in my uber account and has been for years. Called the restaurant and got a shouted at. Absolutely disgusting way to talk to a paying customer. Refused the food after it had been taken to another house. How do I know it hasn’t been tampered with? Unbelievably shocking to be shouted at by a restaurant owner like that. I want my £41 plus the 10% tip I added to the app back and will never ever use Paya again and will ensure friends are aware before ordering. The couple who previously owned the restaurant were lovely. What a shame Abdul has ruined the reputation they built.

   I wouldn’t order from here again. I would like to remind all Chinese restaurants that when your customer asks for dry ribs they mean without being smothered in a sauce but they still want the meat to be succulent and soft. PAYA you failed with these ribs which went straight into the bin. The vegetable spring rolls had too much uncooked batter when I bit into it but with a little bit of salt added and the by being cooked through has the promise of being a nice spring roll. The Chicken inside of the chicken balls was a bit scary with red veiny gristle bits, so I put those in the bin. Maybe smaller leaner bits of chicken for smaller chicken balls may be better. The sweet and sour sauce (or dip) was vinegary, and not to my personal taste. The chicken chow mein was okay.Overall I did not think it was money well spent.

   If I could give it 0 stars I would. I ordered from them through Uber Eats and my order was meant to be with me within half an hour. It took them over an hour and a half to deliver the food and we are less then half a mile away. When we then did finally get it, the food was cold. I man on the phone when I called lied to us saying that there was traffic, which there wasn't because my partner's food arrived ok and he ordered after me. And then he blamed the delivery driver saying how he was new. Just really unacceptable

   Ordered food from this place and it was fantastic, stopped my craving immediately and made me so full I went straight to bed. Food tasted better than expected and came faster than it should have. Just Eat told me 40 minutes, they showed up before I even turned my phone off. Good pricing, great staff and even better food :)

   Have ordered in the past with no issues. Today the portion size was ridiculously small; the container was virtually empty. When I called to enquire I spoke to a very rude and unhelpful person who told me the portion size was not reduced and nobody else had complained, implying I was lying. I offered to send pictures but this was declined. Very dismissive and no customer service skills. I was offered a refund of less than £2 with no date of the refund. Was given the manager's number to discuss, but no-one answered. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from Paya again, haven't got money to throw away.

   I wasn't going to write a review until I called for the third time to see where the order was, seeing as at this point it was an hour late, and the guy answered the phone with a very abrupt hello and a terrible attitude as if I was disturbing him at this point. No apologies for the delay, no attempt at decent customer service. I used to order from Paya when it was in Welling and it was brilliant. Whoever has taken over from then has driven the name of this restaurant into the ground. Very disappointing experience with, to be brutally honest, average food. Would not recommend and certainly won't be using again. Appreciate others have had a good experience and I'm pleased some people have but customer service is very important to me and I would advise others to avoid this particular restaurant. UPDATE: my pregnant missus is now (5 hours later) experiencing food poisoning symptoms.
