    I ordered a washing machine filter - and paid for next day delivery (which doubled the price of the overall order). The item took 48-hours to arrive and when I requested a refund of the special dlivery price I was advised that Royal Mail are experiencing delays! Well claim from Royal Mail - they have a refund policy. I'm less bothered about the money than the couldn't care less attitude.

    I needed a new capacitor for our tumble dryer and ASW had the cheapest I could find, including delivery. Ordering was simple and the item arrived within a few days even though I decided against paying extra for a faster delivery. The tumble dryer now works perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the service! Will definitely use again.

    Ordered a part on Sunday afternoon and paid for next day delivery so expected delivery Tuesday. Still no sign of the order however Appliance Spares Warehouse has taken the money for the order. UPDATE: Part has now arrived (02/07); received an email from Andy apologising for the delay and delivery charge has been refunded. It appears the issue is a technicality with Royal Mail which says they "aim" to deliver next day. This is something the company should be aware of however it is only fair to say the ASW is not a scam and I have received my order. Rating increased to reflect the issue has been resolved.

    My issue has now been resolved. BBQ was faulty and (up until they received it back) they were very good at comms. It took me having to add a review here and on TrustPilot to get my money back but pleased this was done very quickly after the review was posted.

    Sent back a damaged item and a faulty item that wouldn’t fit my appliance (extremely tight fit to the point it wouldn’t move which rendered it unusable) and they refused to cover the delivery costs to return. Completely contradicting the consumer rights act 2015. Am unsure if I really want persue them through the small claims court for £3.95 as it’s a bit petty but it’s the principle of the matter! They accused me that my vacuum cleaner did not have a telescopic reach which it has done since I bought it over 12 years ago! Also the reviews on here completely contradict other review sites which have given them an average of 2.8 score. I’ve also read that they come back and comment straight away on the bad reviews which appear to be very rude and condescending. Ended up by authentic parts from the manufacturer of my vac in the end. The parts from appliance spares wharehouse appeared very cheap and flimsy plastic and hence why one of the items arrived damaged. I am now awaiting a backlash on this review. Also when I initially rang up I felt rushed to finish the phone call as they just kept repeating email us, email us, email us. Also I now have to wait 2 weeks for a refund although they received the item 5 days ago.

    Do not use this company. Following the suggestions on their own website, I ordered 2 replacements for my Dyson. These arrived OK, but did not fit. I informed them of this and their response was that I couldn't have followed their recommendations. I returned the items immediately and they were signed for as received the next day. 10 days later I still had not heard anything from them. Their response to my subsequent query, was "check your bank, this was dealt with" - nothing else at all - customer service ??!!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. After my experience with them and some googling, I genuinely think they might be quite dodgy. I ordered a knob for my oven as my old one had broken. It was fairly cheap - about £6. When it arrived it fitted onto the oven no problem, and looked identical to my old one, BUT (stay with me...!) there were two markers on the knob which were not aligned. So, while one marker was pointing at, say, the grill, another marker was pointing at the fan oven. I assumed the item was faulty and emailed the company. They told me immediately that I had ordered the wrong item. Now, this may be true, but I don't know! What sort of oven needs a knob where the markers aren't aligned?! When I emailed the customer service department, not only were the emails I received back poorly written and difficult to understand, but they were actually RUDE. They made no attempt to explain why a knob would have two markers on it that were not aligned (making me think that they were lying) and they just kept repeating (IN A VERY RUDE WAY) 'you have ordered the wrong item'. When I told them I thought they were being rude and asked again if the item may be faulty they avoided the question and again were rude in their response. I didn't bother sending the item back because they stated they do not do exchanges and I would have had to pay for postage again. Plus - it was cheap in the first place. But I definitely wouldn't use this company again. Very poor customer service and I can't help feeling that they sent me a faulty item and then did not deal with the situation in a professional manner, like any good company would.
