We are from the South of UK, but when in Sheffield we always come here. It never disappoints us, we always go out full stomach. The food is just very delicious, the price is reasonable, the service is good as they are nice and helpful. The atmosphere is good, they play music, but itβs not loud and makes the place feel warm. We have been coming to this restaurant for about 3 years now, and will be coming back for sure.

I had a late lunch here lately and overall enjoyed the experience. The menu is huge, ranging from riced dishes to noodle dishes and soups. The atmosphere is low-frills and good for a quick and hearty meal. I ordered the clay pot rice with Chinese mushrooms and chicken as well as pork dumplings on the side. The dumplings were succulent and very tasty but the clay pot rice was slightly bland. It had a nice umami taste from the mushrooms but needed quite some extra seasoning. Once I reached the crusty rice bits though it got better and better and I would give the clay pot 3.5-4 stars and the dumplings 4.5, so overall a 4. The service is friendly and the speed was reasonable for the order.

We really liked this homely clean authentic restaurant in the heart of Sheffield city centre. We are vegan and hadnβt expected much in all honesty but actually more than we thought if you want Vegan options just tell them and they will help you pick from the menu. They understand vegan the man & woman & their daughters are all helpful & friendly. Very unassuming from the outside with not much English writing but upon entering the restaurant. I was a little surprised at how nice it was with wooden seating & authentic decor. The woman serving was friendly and welcoming and it smelt really nice like hot soup & garlicy. Lots of options marked with a v (vegetarian ) and vegan friendly we had the mushroom claypot rice dish and udon noodle soup with fresh vegetables & tofu. Both quite simple but hot, filling & delicious comforting popular with students & families it seemed Its not the usual greasy fast food type of place like the usual chinese (western style) restaurants. The handmade vegetable dumplings looked good and are on my list to try next time. A Great little independent family run place and nice to see it busy on a Saturday evening too dine in or takeaway near the moor opposite ALS gongcha for great bubble tea. Clean & hygienic restaurant with a ground level toilet for customers too. Will return here thanks its definitely a hidden gem but saw it reviewed & recommended on instagram so decided to pop in and very glad we did βΊοΈ

It is our first time of visit and we are totally in love with the meals there. Pepper Pork Belly Soup is definitely a must-try for any fancy pork belly skin - very generous portion of soup and by its authentic taste there must have been a lot of ingredients put inside while cooking. The soup came to us really hot and that kept us warm during the winter. Clay pot was also a great dish and the portion was relatively on average. All toppings was seasoned well and very rarely we could find lilly bulb / cloud earι²θ³ in the country. I wish there could be more βburnt riceβ (ι£―η¦) as this is the feature of clay pot rice. It took us around Β£40 for these two dishes and price was reasonable given the rareness of ingredients.

Really nice food! Was good value for money, really nice portions, food came out quick and steaming hot, and my spicy noodles were decently spicy! Do bear in mind, they only accept cash, WePay or Alipay, so no card, but there are plenty of cash points in the centre of town so not a big deal. Definitely will go again and explore more of the menu, the selection seems to be quite authentic Chinese cuisine!

Been here a couple of times and there's a great menu to choose from. In particular the pork and jellyfish in chilli oil and any of their large soup noodles are delicious. Clay pot rice was alright and their prices are extremely reasonable (around Β£8-10 a dish, you can eat like a king for Β£15), yet another excellent Chinese restaurant in Sheffield.
