    Avoid at all costs! the customer service is diabolical! I am not sure if the head office look at these reviews but the ought to! As said before by other customers the staff are rude, they are disengaged, unhelpful and lie to your face. I walked in the other day to be told Steve was not in but I could blatantly see him in the office. My quote contained two types of kitchens initially which was wrong, it was only because I changed my mind on the colour this was picked up!

    Extremely disappointed with the service. My client purchased a kitchen from this store and was overcharged — we were assured a refund multiple times (“yes today, tomorrow”) but it never came through. Management, specifically Nathan and Steve, were unhelpful and clearly lacked the expertise needed to design a proper kitchen. This has caused major inconvenience and unnecessary stress. Avoid at all costs unless you want to be misled and left out of pocket

    Terrible experience with Howdens Cheadle. As a trade professional, I expect honesty and competence — got neither. My client was blatantly overcharged, and despite endless promises of a refund (“yes today, tomorrow”), nothing ever came. Steve, the so-called kitchen designer, lacks basic design skills, and Nathan, the manager, was just as clueless and dismissive. Completely unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid this branch at all costs.

    Just found out after my worktop had been fitted that the drain grooves for the sink are not designed to drain the water. But to hold the water in place and to wait for the owner to wipe them down. That I find hard to believe.

    Shame! Thought it would be a great place to regulary go to for my trade kitchens, bedrooms etc but not the case. Useless service time and time again from James. Never returned calls or replies to emails. Made a simple process very difficult and fustrating. Lost nearly £50k in contracts because of this poor attitude. Have to shop elsewhere for kitchens and bedrooms. Buy by all means but steer clear of James Wheeler!

    We recently moved into a proprty in Poynton that had a Howdens kitchen fitted circa 2016. We wanted to add two base units with draw packs. Went to this branch of Howdens, explained the situation to Natalie on reception, in particular that the original installer could not be contacted. No problem says Natalie, ordered the units we requied. Whew! That made life so easy for us. Really appreciate Howdens and the help and assistance we were given by Natalie.
