Used to always order from here but the food quality is shocking these days, rice in special fried rice was mushy, all the meat in it was super fatty, every dish was tasteless and bland, especially the chow mien and rice, and they forgot our duck, definitely won't return
I’ve never had a better chinese in my life. I’ve just moved to york and i will travel to the ends of the earth for the chicken chow mein from here I LOVE CHANS im the biggest fan ever
Had a chicken chow mein with prawn crackers and the chicken was obviously one of these compressed chicken blocks instead of fresh chicken and it was full of water when you bit into it. On to the crackers well they didn’t have any taste at all the prawn must’ve escaped the pan as they tasted so bland. All in all a shocking experience and I won’t be going there again.
I got duck and mixed vegetables salt and pepper chips egg fried rice people it was disgusting I gave my dog it and she loves her food she's even turned her nose up at it I've phoned them and asif I want credit believe me I'll never eat another thing from their premises best part of the meal was when I opened my dustbin and tipped it away please keep your money. I'd rather go ungry than spend 1 penny with them
I would previously have rated them a 4 but at some point in the last few months they seem to have stopped putting garlic in all of their dishes? Weird. Tried a few times thinking it was a mistake but no garlic now every time. Much less flavour. Lacking that pungent garlic zing in everything. Shame.
Great tasting chinese takeaway. Had the mushroom foo yung, crab and sweetcorn soup and crispy wontons. Really enjoyed it.
Usually good. Today nothing was edible. Ribs, prawn toast and satay chicken skewers were overcooked and totally dry. Soup tasted like sea water.
This is a nice takeaway which I use quite regularly good friendly staff when does deliveries or pick up with an excellent variety of Chinese food the only downside is that that it has stopped doing credit card payments only cash which is a bit of a pain
Visited this restaurant at the last minute when i had made a day trip to see a friend who fervently requested that I take them a meal of the Chinese Traditional Food variety..and had to select items that were low calorie and pass on the sauce's as they are not allowed them in special diet that they are on .I used to be stuck in a conundrum with the friend demanding the usual Chinese Traditional Food with sauces and all and his family bullying me and causing if I treated him ...but at this restaurant I was able to provide him with a much lower calorie sugar and fat free variety of what he enjoyed as they are so obliging. Yes a good place to visit all round
