    Worst experience. Very bad customer service. Was quoted one thing over the phone and invoiced a bigger amount after. From an initial 1500 quote for the kitchen, I asked how to make it cheaper as for the same kitchen I had a quote from a different kitchen supplier for 1000. The only problem with the second quote was that there was a 6 week wait. I was ready to pay more to get it quick from howdens, but it feels I just got lied to. Speaking to Jack, I asked how to make it cheaper, and he suggested getting to cooker/hob unit without a drawer would save me around 60 pounds. I was OK with that. And I asked if I get the flooring from them, would it get me a better price. He said yes. And told me 1600. I agreed and I thought that's the end of it. So, from 1500 original quote with the flooring added would be 1600. But that logic doesn't apply to them as I was invoiced 1600 for the kitchen and separate for the flooring. So by buying flooring for them, they've charged me an extra 100 for the kitchen. Ridiculous. I went back to challenge it and they said I would get a call back but never happened. Never again.

    Ok… it has taken me a long time to decide how to write this review….. I could go on and on about the very bad experience… but… I will get straight to the point…. 1: Kitchen consultant/designer…. Came once…. Didn’t design properly (puts the responsibility back to the customer) 2: Manager: very unprofessional, rude and didn’t care about customer satisfaction 3: Items stored in storage unit, some damaged and worktop warped (did replace items after discussion, understand this can happen in transit, but be aware) 4: Don’t recommend their own products (they are expensive , do the job but source your own) Don’t recommend tradesmen (but do! And not a very good one at that!). Get your own recommendation from people you trust. We went middle range, absolutely love the overall look of my kitchen (don’t think I will get 20 years from it like my b & q one did) maybe, try a different Howdens they can’t be all as bad as this one! On a positive: one member of staff from start to finish was very helpful and considerate to our problems. Thank you Leighton !

    The worst customer service going. Once the sale is done, expect to have your emails asking where your materials and refund are ignored. Over a month after our kitchen was supposed to be done, we were chasing materials. Not to mention materials that were deducted from our refund without them ever checking costing with us - materials that should have been sent with the original order. Everyone I've spoken to who have used different Howdens stores have had much better experiences so not too sure why this one seems to be so poor in their sales approach, customer service and service recovery...clearly they feel they need the money and sales numbers more than future customers. I've never left a review like this so that says something about how bad it is. Think carefully about who you pay thousands of pounds to for your kitchen.

    Terrible Experience - Unreliable and Unprofessional: My recent dealings with Howdens have been a complete nightmare. After paying £4102.69 on August 2nd, 2023, for a kitchen product delivery promised for August 4th, I was left waiting and given excuses. The delivery was repeatedly rescheduled, and even the revised dates were not honored. The customer service was unhelpful and the branch manager, being, dismissive and unprofessional. Despite paying directly to Howdens, I was told I'm "not their customer" when seeking a partial refund for the missed deliveries. This experience has been a total letdown, and I strongly advise against dealing with Howdens.

    Bad product and worse attitude. We ordered and had delivered a load of door frames for a job site. One of the frames were badly twisted, I mean really bad. Out by 15mm and no way to get a good grip on tin stud. So naturally I took the one frame back to get it exchanged but the attitude I got from the depot manager was absolutely disgraceful and they wouldn't exchange. ***Update*** I have already emailed you 5 days ago as requested but yet to receive any response. ***Update*** And then these clowns shut our account, because Howdens don't believe in customer service.

    NEVER AGAIN!! This will be the first and last time I will be buying from Howdens Salford. Horrible staff and customer service. A lot of items in the delivery were missing or completely wrong and to top it off they actually made me pay for replacing the undelivered items!! Also, the fact that they don't advertise their prices is a big turn off. I will be advising everyone I personally know to stay away from Howdens.

    Don't buy Kicthen in this store no experience and bad service ,when you place your order before they will 100% promise after you paid the Kicthen guy will said to you I not Manager can't do any things. Then you will be trouble.

    I call them as i wanted kitchen quickly, their first question was do you have trade account. as i wanted to do kitchen by my self and I clearly mentioned that I don't have trade account. they told me that is not problem, and was nice on phone and so I booked design appointment for next day. I already had design and measuring with me so it was just putting those data into there system and get quote I got quote which very similar to B&Q and Ikea. they mentioned that whole kitchen can be deliver in couple of day, as I wanted to get kitchen delivered soon i went for it and ordered it. All problem starts now, after payment they told me that they cant give price list of every item, so i have no idea what is charge against what item, they told me that they sell kitchen as whole. after asking details of item i am going to get on delivery they just provided me screen shot of basic items but not full list. I again phone them and asked, what is configuration of units like, soft close ect, and they told me it will not be soft close. My mistake was I assumed that soft close is petty standard now. if they provided full list i could have figured out Delivery was scheduled for Friday evening and I got call they cant deliver it and will do it next day, fair enough. next day delivery come and delivery guy dumped everything in my house , I am totally clueless as I did not know what Item I was receiving and how many. at the end delivery guy asked me to sign paper work for delivery which i did. over inspection of all items I found that quite few items are missing or not delivered. So i called them and they told me that it will be delivered next week. they should have been transparent on that, my whole point of ordering kitchen was to get it quickly. next week again they delivered partial items and still some stuff are missing, also by now I found that one of the door was missing so I personally visited them and told that door was never delivered, however they refused to accept as i have singed paper work given by delivery guy, my mistake, so i have to pay for that door again. While writing review, still waiting for delivery of remaining stuff. My suggestion is if you are not trade person, don't go to them. there service is poor and no transparency.
