   Having come here 5-6 years as a family of 5 (3 young kids and 2 parents), I have to say the service the staff have been giving is on the decline. Today we entered to grab a late lunch, only to be greeted by one waiter who said “sit wherever you want”. So we did, only to be then told by a grumpy waiter ( Eluert V.).”you cannot sit here, the table is not cleaned, please go there where the table is clean”. He then gestured rudely to a 4 seat table for our family of 5 and walked off. No offer to clean the table we chose (which is normal). I then had to move the table myself. Never have I been to a restaurant where we have been treated like a stray dog. A+++ to your waiter, 5-6 off being a regular to your restaurant he has managed to achieve the impossible! We will not come back, absolutely terrible terrible! I get better treatment at Pizza Express, Mc Donald’s and KFC. We recently attended a Gordon Ramsey restaurant (Bread street) and I had to write a review of how exceptional the service was. Thanks for giving us a great Xmas Eve experience.

   I love coming to this site of Carluccio's at Bentalls but always I walked away with little disappointment. Was rather disappointed with the stale bread that came with the Tomato bruschetta, I can't cut into it nor can I bite into it. The saving grace was the second antipasto ordered, Burrata which was very delicious.

   Convenient location within Bentalls department store inside the Bentalls shopping center, food quality was fine , service was excellent, some of the stuff on the menu was not available , but in general it was fine .

   On the menu it says that the minute steak is served pink in the center, perfect. When it arrived it was overcooked, brown all the way through and tough like leather. I asked the waiter why it was so overcooked. He told me it was how they cook their minute steaks and that physically you can't cook them any other way because they are so thin. He was lying. I then proceeded to order a sirloin steak because he suggested that it would be medium rare. When it arrived it was equally overcooked and dry on the inside. - and how do you even get grill marks on a steak but then make the rest of the steak look boiled... Expert level at making bad steaks.

   Terrible customer service, starters and mains slacked in oil and salad burnt and old. Manager said Carluccio’s doesn’t exist anymore, is a new owner. She said that they have new menu, new suppliers. Worst place I’ve been since moved to UK.
