Staff were very nice and friendly but socialising a lot with their friends, food was extremely expensive but lovely, the cocktails we received looked nothing like their menu pictures and were quite disappointed for the price, the place has a lot of potential but has been let down.

DON'T BELIEVE THE REVIEW AVERAGES, read recent reviews and think before you visit! I normally leave 4 and 5 star reviews, and am really hesitant to leave a truly bad review unless I'm convinced this is the norm for a business and not just a off bad day. The β€˜Naked Burger’ was so disgusting that I couldn’t eat more than two bites, the loos were unpleasant enough that my normally stoic husband gave them a pass and in general the place felt grubby. We ate the fries because we’d been on the road for hours, and were starving but I am still regretting that decision, as I felt ill afterwards. Although the waitress was very nice and very new, when I told her politely that the food was cold and inedible, it didn’t occur to her to offer to remove it from the check. One positive note was that the mocktail was actually very good. However, the food was so horrific that I still have to give this place a one star in the hopes of saving others from eating here. If you look at the recent reviews you'll quickly discover that this is sadly what this establishment has become. I have no idea where the photos of food shown prviously have come from, but I suspect a change of ownership may have occurred. I'd say a change of chef, but I don't think whomever prepared what they served us could hardly be called a chef. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss.

The owners simply don't care. Like other reviews, I had adverts on social media and thought it looked brilliant and a cool social scene. The reality has been a headache that's dragged on for a month. We went on a Friday night at 7.30pm and there was one other table in use on a Friday night at 7.30pm. The food took 40 minutes to arrive, we ordered two burgers and one side of fries. Sadly we ended up with two fries and one burger, but realising the error the waiter said to keep the food. I ate a couple of mouthfuls before the waiter came back and explained the chef was happy to do the burger (that I'd ordered and paid for) but in exchange for the incorrectly delivered fries I'd started eating... Given the wait time of the initial order and reading the warning signs, I asked for a refund, the food (pictured) is how we left it at the restaurant. I waited another while before going up to the bar to enquire about the refund. Aiden struggled to issue the refund using a handheld device but eventually said it had gone through and would go back on the card as we'd ordered on the app. Over a week came and went with no refund credited, so we contacted the restaurant using the WhatsApp number on the web site - the only form of communication I could find to speak to anyone. It turns out this is the owner/manager, who has replied asking for details of the transaction/incident, which was promptly provided and some 2-3 weeks later still hasn't replied. We re-attended the restaurant, this time the waiter was the only member of staff on site who said this was a regular occurrence and that the manager was abroad. He said the owners don't seem to care and they're being put in difficult positions with customers such as this. He contacted the manager for us whilst we were there, and when asked how he would rectify an issue such as this if it were to happen again, he just shrugged. I think as long as nothing goes wrong, which apparently 4.7 times in 5 it doesn't seem to, then you're fine and the food looks good. Other wise, it's a soulless, uncared for joint with slow food service and strange customer service. Appearances are deceiving and I feel for some of the staff having no way of providing a good service, especially when the chef asks for food back that's been partially eaten! *update* This is not in relation to any other review left. The request for a refund was because of the order being wrong and the chef requesting partially eaten food back. Not because it took 40 minutes, despite the place being nearly empty as stated in my initial review. We've requested a refund with the owner of TwentyTwo several times over several weeks and havebeen ignored for a month now and still haven't received a refund. We've had to do a charge back through our credit card provider. If you wish to resolve simple issues like this then please put a contact number on your site for someone actually helps.

Been coming to BTC for a couple of years now in both their original site (now the bake shop) and the restaurant now. Tasty meals, that our eyes don’t learn not to be bigger than our belly for! Their food just gets better and better, last night was a real treat of a dinner with l@mb and cheezecake that were absolute dreams, and the welcome you get just adds to why we keep coming back. New St has a cute quirky building we love, but the food and staff inside are just amazing!

Forget the fact its vegan, this place is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is absolutely unreal, and they don't skimp on portions (always taking a box of what's left home) We are Regular visitors from Stourbridge and always look forward to visiting. Vegan or not, you will love this place, staff are fantastic and love fussing over our dogs ( very dog friendly place), food is well priced and absolutely amazing. Top tip...order the marmite butter fries! A visit is a must

One of the best vegan dining experience that I have had. Their food is next level and the portions are huge. Come with an empty stomach :)

Really pleased that Be The Change has expanded into its own restaurant. Food was as good as the cafe in the square (picture is vegan crispy chilli beef) and the restaurant itself is well laid out. Service as usual was great. Would definitely go again.
