   What a "Lovely" dinning experience my wife and I had at this amazing Ask Italian - North Finchely! We were recommended this restaurant by my work colleagues who recently celebrated their birthday here. We had an authentic starter Garlic Bread with Italian Olives Marinated green Nocellara olives from Sicily. Very tasty, compared to other Italian restaurants we've dinned in. Followed by A creamy mushroom and white base calzone with truffled mushrooms, spinach, mascarpone, mozzarella and smoked scamorza cheese - We were very impressed when the Head Chef-Patrick together with his colleague Zollie personaly bought our Calzone to us and introduced themselves. That's what I call an "Attentive Service with Passion" A mega Big Thanks to our Waitress - KLEA who was warm and welcoming - Klea did her best to offer us a Mouth Watering dessert, however we were full from our Calzone Pizza. Of course a Perroni is perfect! Great team and thank you to everyone today at Ask Italian-North Finchley! We'll be back with more guests. Thank You from -Kaz and Lili

   The pasta was delicious however my.order of a margarita pizza was completely disregarded. So I sat and watched my partner eat while thinking my food would be coming until the end when we discovered I wasn't getting anything. The bread as a starter that we ordered was completely burnt. It was quite enough in their to get the order correct and cook it correctly Came to 33 pounds for bread pasta a beer and mojito. Won't be coming back to experience children screaming and running around not having my order being listened to and just awful slow stupid service never again.

   Despite the restaurant being quite full as a result of the start of the school summer holidays a seat was found for us and we were served very quickly. Our waiter was helpful without being too over attentive, but didn't miss a chance to upsell in a very polite way. The meals were well presented, warm and tasted nice, there was no rush to leave the restaurant.

   Had a lovely three course meal for two for dinner. Ordered our items from the menu via a he QR code on the table. Had to ask the staff to activate our table number as it wasn’t working initially. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. Delicious food and a nice selection of drinks. Highly recommend.

   It was busy at 2PM on a Saturday, but we were luckily seated straightaway. Service was also efficient and friendly. There appeared to be QR code ordering capability, but it didn’t work for us because it said that our table number (#6) was invalid. However, we were tended to soon enough. I was intrigued by the purple pesto frilly tagliatelle and we found out that it was made from purple basil leaves. The dish was tasty, albeit heavy due to the cream, pesto and thick pasta noodles. It became a little one-dimensional towards the end, as it was mostly just pasta and sauce with very few green beans and pine nuts, but the purple pesto did give a burst of flavour every now and then. I think if you add chicken, it may help to break up the monotony. Regardless, I liked the dish.

   My wife and I ate here after going to the movies. We were able to walk in and be seated during the Saturday lunch rush, which was lucky (it was pretty busy, so others may not have the same luck). Even though it's a chain restaurant, we were both quite impressed by the quality of the food as it was tasty. You get a good amount of food for your money too. The regular coffee was also very generous. Wait staff were unobtrusive but helpful and didn't keep us waiting too long at any stage of our meal. Overall, a good experience.

   Absolutely outstanding customer service from the waiters working there. They were ever so attentive, funny, friendly and quick. I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant on this occasion. The food was really nice and tasty!! I would definitely come here again one day!!
