An uneven yet enjoyable dining experience. The starters were the clear highlight: outstanding fish dishes and exceptionally good spare ribs, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The main courses, while decent, lacked the final push to truly impress and felt somewhat underwhelming in comparison. Attentive service ensured a smooth evening, even if the kitchen’s strengths clearly lay in the starters. The already included 20%tip on the bill was surprising.

Delicious food, prompt service, and lovely ambience in the centre of London. We particularly liked the authentic Italian Olive Oil that paired nicely with the bread basket. I’m vegetarian: Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli with sage butter was great, mushroom risotto not so much. Overall, highly recommended.

If you are looking for classy tasty Italian dishes, this is the place to go! You don't have to travel to Italy just for the food. I am from Switzerland and visit Italy every month serval times, please trust me. I recommend to start with antipasto, primi and secondo. If you are only two or three, just share the plate! Batutta meta wit truffels, and the spicy gambas is just great! The Spaghetti Barca a must! The Nodino did Vitello just a melting dream (soft veal T-Bone)! Also the selection of Italian wines ist great and with reasonable prices. We had the rosé Franciacorta 61' sparkling wine from Berlucchi (Champagne méthode) and a Salice Valentino from Apuglia with Negro Amaro grapes fruity, dry and smooth The desert menue is just heaven! (and I am not into deserts). Limoncello was on the house, fruity and not sticky (frozen glasses would be the crown)

Amazing restaurant! So elegant and surprising in the middle of lower march street. Amazing food, the sea food pasta was made right in front of us. And also everything else, the ravioli, minestrone soup and penne arrabiatta, were all great. It is not cheap but definitely worth it.

We had a great dinner at La Barca tonight. Our waiters Sergio and Luigi and others were great! The food was delicious. A lot of the staff is from Sardinia and everyone in our family enjoyed the food. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who has lived his entire life in the UK. We hope to return on our next trip to London. We would recommend the restaurant to couples, a family or even a business meal. The service and the food were worth the taxi fare from across the Thames. If anyone is looking for Italian food in London we would recommend La Barca as it was recommended to us by a local friend. They also took our reservation via email. They have indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seating.

Wonderful birthday dinner spent at this restaurant. They easily accommodated a group of 11 guests. Given its rating, we were pleased that the food quality met our already high expectations. The pasta portions are also on the generous side. The staff were attentive throughout the evening and eager to impress. The location, just several minutes walk to Waterloo Station was convenient for all. Would love to visit again to sample more of the menu! Would highly recommend the duck and mushroom pasta, but you can't go wrong with any!

Service was great and was really a fan of the butterflied prawns they were absolutely delicious. Would recommend them however I felt as though the fillet steak and calamari was fairly average, other than that the other dishes were amazing with the tuna etc. Great service and nice interior, would have given it 5 stars but the two dishes! Will be coming back! And may be changing my rating

So glad, I was able to go back to La Barca after the pandemic, the food and service was phenomenal as usual! I come back everytime I'm near Waterloo and boast about the place to all my friends. Can't wait to keep having more delicious meals in the years to come. You know the food is good when the couple next to you says "this saved our date night"

Nice independent Italian restaurant. Think I picked the wrong meal as mine was just ok. My daughter said hers was lovely and it’s a nice setting. It was busy for a Tuesday night and had a few famous people dinning there. My wife had a pasta with lobster meal and said there was hardly any lobster hence four stars not five.
